It's hard to believe that Bubbles is nearly a year old already. Like you, I'm hoping for one more baby for Martha. She's a good mum and loves her babies, but has had the worst luck. Bubbles is the first one to make it this far since Button was born in 2016. A.M. thought a predator may have gotten Bobbin, then her next one was born sickly and died within a week, or two.
It is especially funny to follow the young first time moms with babies, knowing their own history and sometimes recognising their babies similarities with the mom. Love it! As you say in this video they are consumed with the love of their babies, that is very heartwarming to see. Thank you for your lovely videos!
I can't believe how Eyeshadow allowed Buttercup to just reach out and touch you! She must really see you as one of them for her to sit so close to you with her precious newborn. You're like the Jane Goodall of Monkey Hill! ❤

Excellent videos, information, and thank you for identifying them so we learn the various families. I breed warmblood Sporthorses for jumping and Eventing and the females (mares) are by far the most important factor to produce exceptional offspring. Tho matriarchal societies are no longer found in domesticated horses, historically every herd followed a “boss mare” who was responsible for leading the herd to good grazing pastures, clean water sources and shelter. Has anyone studied the various families for notable differences in: athleticism, early achievement, even critical thinking in offspring?
It’s good the babies become yearlings, means they survived , thanks to the love of mama and the milk bar. Now they’re eating on their own. Hopefully they are weaned by now. They are hardy animals.
I get nervous when the moms are leaping around in the trees, using both hands, and not holding their newborns close. I guess we just have to assume that they know the strength of their babies’ grasp.
Ariel is still a cutie! She is a little bigger, but not grown yet. She and Bubbles still have a lot to learn. They are just getting interested in babies and getting close to them and holding them. That's when you see them growing up right in front of you. I love them in all of their stages . Thank you, MC for bringing them to us! ❤❤❤❤
I love watching them be free living there beautiful little monkey life's. Is so much better than seeing humans making pets and putting clothes and diapers on them, this is so much better. Thank you for sharing the beautiful video's you film of them
You have a fight going on, and a monkey with a bloody eye. You completely ignore it and talk about the baby. I want to know what is going to happen or what did happen. Just seems so dishonest to not say anything.
