yeah, i felt it was obvious since as he pointed out, there's a clear opening to put Ed in there, it's gonna be like current anime openings, and add Ed once she pops up in the show

Carson the animation for the Cowboy Bebop movie intro isn’t rotoscope. It just that Tetsuya Nishio and Hiroyuki Okiura are just too good. Also Carson not all super quality animation is rotoscope. It’s rarely is
yeah most rotoscope actually looks really fucking janky because we're not used to closely looking at how human bodies actually look in motion versus the stylized motion found in animation

It's really insane that less people listen to blues and jazz just in their everyday casual music experience, because some of the best music is from these genres. 2 seconds in and you're already moving and grooving!

The Netflix opening is cool. It makes me want to like the show, even if I feel like a live action adaptation if unnecessary

Same creators made Samurai Champloo, which for me is a much more rewatchable show than Cowboy Bebop.
I think they are equally as rewatchable to be honest. Like to me, Bebop is a little better but like not a ton better. They feel more or less like the same show but in different settings.
@@TheZebbga I don't know Samurai Champloo has a happier ending and hence rewatchable for me. I can't deal with sad/tragic endings in a rewatch.
@@SSS-ie6mh Okay, that is fair enough then. I don't mind a sad ending really if the road getting there is a fun ride. So while I disagree, I get it. I mean I love Grave of the Fireflies and Shidler's List but I don't want to watch them over and over.
Tbh Samurai Champloo is a bit underrated bt its an equally perfect show just like Cowboy Bebop

You don't think it gets enough love? It is a classic. I always hear it talked about in high regards. I think Stand Alone Complex gets less loved and in my opinion it is much more deserved.

Cowboy Bebop and Gundam are from Sunrise studio and both of them are going to get Live Action made by NETFLIX. I really hope they don't ruin them. Gundam is the first Real Robot anime. Mecha anime like Gurren Lagann is Super Robot

hey guys are you taking a break from naruto reactions ?
I was on the fence about the Ed situation at first but after havin rewatched the show last week I'm alright with it. You have to remember they're going to focus heavily on Spike and his past by extension.
Ed and Ein don't show up until after Vicious fucks up Spike and then she leaves when Viscous starts showing back up. I noticed that for the most part as well Ed doesn't really do anything. She's barely even as useful as Puck who serves the same purpose of lightening things up.
However where Puck contibutes to Guts's health and helps show us the reader how much he's changed Ed just hacks shit. A lot of the character development between other characrers is beteen the main three where as Ed sits on the sidelines most of the time.
Her adventures are fun and a nice change of pace but the majority of what people like about Cowboy Bebop doesn't include Ed.

I don't want to be that guy or be like a PC Enforcer or what ever but I believe Ed is non binary became them a "they" and not a "she". That is what the director said, not me and I am a straight guy, I a not offended or anything but just clarifying something that the show is a bit vauge on.
But I do love Ed, I think they are hillarious and a key point of the series, I absaloutly think it was the right choice to cut them from the Netflix version. As you said, how do you even begin to cast Ed? I think they would be super annoying in live action and wouldn't work well at all. I think it is smart to focus on Spike, Jet and Faye and if Netflix are going to make this a long running series that lasts multiple season, then maybe bring Ed into the second season IF they can think of a way to make them work. I want to know they can get Spike, Jet and Faye working first.
I don't want to be that guy, but 'm pretty sure at one point a gay man approaches Ed, thinking he's a boy, then gets really mad when he founds out Ed is a girl. And Faye also talks to Ed as a girl.
Ed is just weird and kinda androgynous (in part because she's a kid yet) but that's it. I don't remember a scene in the whole show saying she's non binary or whatever.
@@DracoRach Well that is it. I did mention in the show it does explicitly say Ed is non Binary, I was going off what the director has said in interviews. Ed is referred too as Male and Female throughout the show. Like Faye is surprised to learn Ed is a Girl in their introduction episode. Ed's Father also doesn't know if Ed is a boy or girl. I am pretty sure he says something like "Thank you for taking care of my Son. Or is it my daughter?" Ed is ambiguous, I mean I think it is clear Ed was at least born Female but also calls themselves Ed which is usually a Male name.
So yeah, it is ambiguous and yes, the show doesn't ever specifically say Ed is non Binary and for that, I couldn't fault anyone for calling Ed a "he" or a "she" and like I also said, I am not offended or trying to like enforcing anything, I was just pointing out what the director said in an interview. At the end of the day it doesn't effect me, just saying what I know.
@@TheZebbga As i said, people think Ed as a boy at first because she's a kid. Girls at that age don't have full developed bodies. Being a kid and being non binary are two different things. She being ambiguous at first is a recurring gag, after a while most of the people call her a she. You're overthinking her sexuality.
@@DracoRach No I am not. Do you want me to link you to an interview where the creator of the show litterally says she is non binary? These are not my words. Also being non binary isn't a sexuality, it is a gender identity.
