More work needed on this one for coordination for certain. Thank you !
Señor : muchas gracias por su excelente explicación. Saludos desde Meryland ___Whasigton.
Great walkthru! played for many years, and teaching my daughter. we both love latin music so should be fun jamming together to this progression :)
Thank you for such a great breakdown! I'm trying to put this together in StaffPad and am craving the bass and percussion parts. Do you have any recommendations on where to find these for the Montuno?
Hi David.. I'm not sure I understand what you mean.. are you talking about the backing track?
@@PianoFreak1 Yeah, the backing track. I should just be able to figure it out myself, as it sounds simple enough. The hard part for me is getting the rhythm notation correct.
Excellent tutorial! One question: While you say this is a 1-2-5-1 progression, I'm only seeing it played as a 1-2-1, no G-chord in the mix. I know you're playing G in 2nd inversion which is D-G-B. But @2:57 you play the Dm chord once again, D-F-A. Slowing the video down to 0.25 speed I see the G note struck only when playing the C-Chord in root position. Never any other time. Am I wrong here?
You're absolutely right, but focus on the bass. The bass role plays 1 2 5 1
Thank you! But I don't understand your use of the C# note. Can you explain ?
Hi friends.. the "Super Thanks" button below the video it's a wonderful way to show appreciation and support my work. feel free to use it.♥️🙏
