Many tips and tricks Fortnite CZcamsrs have covered optimal binds for controller, claw and keyboard and mouse, for both PC and console. Over the last 6 months I decided to see how much I'd improve using them. Made me feel like an absolute beginner. Martoz and AussieAntics have odd binds that use a thumbstick to move.

I haven’t touched the game for about 2 years and came back to the game and made my own binds and it took me about 5-6 months to finally keep up with some guys in the lobbys. Finally about to do edit courses on my own in free building and it just feels amazing. Keep practicing

@@megapuppydoctor find some good binds. Play a lot of creative against players your level or worse. I usually hop onto “the pit” and practice my aim and builds there then after about 20-30 minutes I go practice my piece control for an hour then just play the game however you want afterwards. Don’t wanna practice a crazy amount and overdue it

Wasq movement is certainly an interesting solution to the issue of moving without interference while editing, another solution I've personally found was using x for edit which allowed me to move both right and edit at the same time

I don't get why more people talk about mouse button edit

Majority of people use their index finger simply because it's physically the fastest finger..
And people think side mouse button is a bad idea because you're shaking your mouse around so much, it'd be hard to stay accurate
@@nurfed4883 idk where u get the idea ur index of ur left hand is physically the fastest lmao, its been proven in multiple studies that ur dominant hand (hand u hold mouse in) has significantly faster finger speeds, and that middle and index are the sameish speed

I use shift for my edit bind and it has served me well for a fix to the "can't move a certain direction and edit" problem, while also allowing my index finger to build many pieces without worrying about an edit bind on that side (as someone that isn't comfortable hitting mouse buttons for builds)
I'm similar, using the finger next to your pinky for caps lock for edit, used it since I can remember and therefore didnt even know that could be a problem😂

awesome vid i was wondering about how you were doing with the binds i tried switching my binds to a more similar blind structure and i couldn't get used to it so i switched back

I play ESDF movement which gives me access to QAZ with my pinky and I dont have to learn such weird hand placement
i use RDFE muvment, g edit and side mouse button (double edit binds), scroll wheel up to jump, cone is ALT, floor is SPACE

i recommend if you want to do this you should make a new account with the new keybinds so if you want to revert back to your old keybinds there wont be as much hassle

I play on yghj and use alt for edit. As soon as I started kbm I switched off to the middle. More mouse space and more buttons available

if you dont sprint in your building/freebuild you need to update your moveset, not being rude just saying, sprinting side jumps would be a good start, or using it to ramp rush
could you make these binds optimal for without mouse buttons as my mouse buttons are broken and don't feel like getting a new mouse every 6 months

I use my scroll wheel for edit and edit reset, so I can move anywhere I want when I edit.

Call me lazy but i stick to old bind because you can load / save them and it take a long time to set them up.

I juse WASD and edit on G with my thumb and then press space with the little bone thing at the start of the thumb
Everyone has a different opinion on optimal binds. I dont know how i could play on the middle of the keyboard like that, tried asdf movement and couldnt get it down

I think your shotgun aim and tracking are really good, your piece control is too but I think you need to work on edit timing.

bro my solution was what i did from the start my build binds are the numbers above my wasd keys and with a familiar loadout i can remember that my shotgun is x and my pick axe is c and i can use my scroll wheel to move my loadout slots its certainly weird but im diamond one
my edit button is e and i have edit on release on both which i actualy find a lot better

I have been using WASQ movement ever since your last video on it. I play Fortnite casually, and I think it is much more natural imo. Lots of people ridiculed me and quite possibly wanted me to die, but I personally think they are nice.
since i edit with a tumb mouse key i can move without any problem
