Hey guys, we apply exactly the same way in Europe - it’s really a perfect step-by-step installation manual for beginners with cool explanations and experienced working methods - you made a good job! Anyway it’s necessary to say - the rubber surfaces are not easy to apply and by the installation there are many aspects (weather, temperature, humidity), affecting the final form and your success!

I’ve done sbr and epdm rubber crumb wetpour here in Finland, it’s fun but not so easy to do. Would love to do more elsewhere!

good video. something i always tell people who work with acetone is to read the SDS or MSDS sheet before hand. once you realize the damage it can do to your reproductive system most people choose to protect themselves with some sort of PPE.

How about residential roofs. My husband wants a metal roof. I’m just curious if you have thought or ever laid on top?
    Thanks

Check out American Recycling Center. We have a place in SC as well as Michigan. Get a hold of them and tell them Jesse sent you.

What do you use to wax your mixer? Thinking of trying wax to reduce clean out time and headache.

Why does the concrete have to be so perfect if the rubbers going on top- just wondering how important that is..

  • @sportsurfacessouthafrica7224

Hi Guys , I am from South Africa. Have you ever used a standard concrete mixer to mix crumb and binder. We don’t have smaller pan mixers available her. Just monsters that are not convenient to transport from site to site

I heard you cannot use cement mixer, but I don’t know for sure. I use a hand held paddle mixer, and if you have a double paddle mixer you can mix fairly large batches. At least this is what I found out!

My company uses a regular motor mixer. Cleaning is a nightmare but you gotta do what you gotta do.

The wax is a really good idea. I use duct tape on the panels in the mixer to prevent the buildup on it. Other than that the best way is to have someone scrape it out manually which sucks

I have used diesel many times, it works fine, just don’t saturate it. People have used wd40 as well but I like diesel better!
