In this episode we are going to Mafra municipality and Mafra town. It is not far from Lisbon, about 20 minutes ride.
We will visit main place in Mafra - National Palace...Damn, this place is massive 😳
Also will check out mini village - Aldeia Tipica Jose Franco, another must in Mafra.

I saw the mestre José Franco doing the lovely figures of clay, and that pão com chouriço are soooooo god!
We been with my family to palace recently and agree it is massive, wondering how much labor and materials went into construction. Amazing 🇵🇹
It is a pity you didn't see the library of the Mafra Palace... it is beautiful...

There's no bread better than Pão de Mafra in the entire world. And this is not a joke... Of course that Pão com chouriço is amazing due to the same dough...Yahmmmmmy

Yes I've been inside the palace, but they don't allow to film, also drone can film only front facade👌🕍

Hey, the road I took in this video is toll-free road, so you don't need to pay. It is more beautiful, but bit narrow 😉👍 Usually on google maps or other navigation apps you can switch to ride on tolls or no 🫡🇵🇹
Does Mafra have public transportation and an International school?
Unfortunately in Mafra there are no International schools 😕
There are buses connecting Lisbon-Mafra and other towns in Mafra region. In Mafra town I believe there are also local buses 👌

@@jacquesjourney I think in Sintra there are - 25km 20-30 minutes drive with car. I'm living in Cascais and here are 3 or 4 international schools. Cascais is 30-35 minutes drive with car.

Exactly...😄 And usually you need to pay only at top destinations, go 100 meters away and it is free 👌😃
