I had many ppl coming up to me randomly saying that I reminded them of her bc of my eclectic style and personality. I had no clue who she was until a few months ago and her music has saved my life. Her music is like gravity and so relatable. Alcohol is a tough one, I think about it everyday. I drank to take the anxiety and depression away, I will always be an addict. I’m an alcoholic too. A bad one. I never thought I could stop. I couldn’t do it on my own. Broke down and joined AA. All I know is it wasn’t me that stopped. A higher power definitely took it away. I can’t explain it because it doesn’t make sense. But neither does addiction. I’m almost 4 years now sober. My son is 10 months sober from alcohol and fentanyl. He was homeless 3 years overdosing over and over. Please go to a meeting. It works. If you have no one to talk to I’m here for you. No one understands the pain of it. The hopelessness.
