Great interview my man, I'm from D.C.and was around during that time period that he was speaking of. Trust and believe everything he said was solid and concrete!!! 💯
I lived through them 80s in DC , NE Clay St ,Brooks Street then Landover , them dudes names were all over the place ,in the gogos ,in the streets , as a kid it was fun , you didn't realize how dangerous it was.
27:34 he made a point to acknowledge he still was always close to god. So, we have to have a belief in something greater than ourselves. Know yourself. Evolution is a hell of thing.
Brother B High I’m from Milwaukee WI. But I currently live out west in Seattle WA. I love what you doing my brother always great guest. I follow brother Curtbone and love what he does just the same. I’ve watched this episode twice and loved it each time I watched
I remember my 1st car 93 Altima broke down right across the street at the BP on Benning rd. I went in his store to burn some time while I waited on my man to come tow the car. Met CB and he was cool as hell. Had no clue as to who I really met until last year when I came across his CZcams and put it together lol. Keep doing your thing homie. I got an older cousin that know you from back in the day and all he got is good things to say.
This brother took care of me everytime I walked in his shop. If he wasn't there. He made sure his partners took care of me. I wore so much All Daz gear. Joker thought I had stock in his clothing line. I remember when Curt was selling gear out his Chevy Blazer.
The operative word that I focus on is "The Game" because in a game, there's a winner and a loser and in this particular game, we're constantly the lovers so "The Game" seem quite rigged to me. Every game that separates us from our kids and family is a rigged game and the winners know this so why don't we? We don't know this because we're playing "The Game" that continues to separate us from our family before we're able to teach them "The Game".
Curt broke that down to the simplest denominator. And I used to watch him run around as a little knuckle head boy.Rosedale playground getting in our way while we trying to run whole courts on the bball courts
Curtbone is a very intelligent man and he was very popular and a leader back in the 80s met him at the Blackhole a few times with my man Fat Rodney Rip 🙏 the Blackhole was the place to be in 85 86 87 88 and then times changed....
Vlad dropped the ball on the CB interview. BHigh got more out of CB in 7 minutes than Vlad did in 50 minutes.
Facts. He was guarded with Vlad. This was more like a barbershop talk, with your folks in comparison to the interview style.
B High let the man talk. Vlad interviews are horrid because he is always trying to overtalk his interviewees
Vlad more so documented Curt, B High chopped it up wit him.
@@philipwhatley6742Definitely. He talks as if he knows about their lives better than the people he's interviewing.
Vlad asked too many questions that could have JAMMED him up. Not sure why people still go to Vlad.
