Yoongi is unique to me among the members, he is raw, blunt but stating the facts in his songs , his personality ( cold outside but warm inside ) , his brilliantness, swagness, his views and wisdom, the more he is getting older he is so fine like wine🥰!
In one of his vlives with Army, he basically laughed at the haters, saying Go ahead, send your hate comments because I don’t read them and the company will sue you. He said it in a very calm but mocking tone. I loved it. That’s so Suga. He never hesitates to call people out but in a very cool way.
1. If you like diss tracks, you gotta see the ones by the entire rap line, they're absolute bangers: Cyphers 1-4, Ddaeng, and Ugh. For the last two, you'll have to watch the explanation videos by DKDKTV afterwards because there's some Korean wordplay involved.
2. You already know from the Taylor's guide that songs produced by Suga have won awards. As another notch on his belt, the latest BTS song, "Take Two", was produced by him (and his long-time co-producer El Capitxn) and is now the #1 song on the Billboard Global 200, and Billboard Global 200 Excl. US, and Digital Song Sales. It's also #48 on the Billboard Hot 100.
3. His entire Agust D trilogy is his personal journey of healing and we're privileged that he has chosen to share this journey with us. And it's wonderful to see that by his third album, he has conquered his inner demons.
4. If your favorite song on this album is "Agust D" because it has an MV, let me try and level the playing field for you. He performs "The Last" in his concert so you can watch that. "Enjoy BTS More" has provided subtitles for the performance.
5. I look forward to your reaction to the rest of his discography. My favorite is "D-2", with "D-day" a close second. But I'm also excited for your exploration of the rest of the BTS members. They're all equally talented so I'm sure you'll enjoy their songs as well.
24:06 The verse "While saying two words with one mouth they go to the big companies..." is actually calling out the underground rappers that were saying shit to and about them while at the same time were in negotiations with companies themselves. Two words one mouth comes from a Korean proverb, how men that don't keep their word aren't real men. This comes up in RM's 'Joke' as well.
Wow I didn't know this. Thanks for sharing
Everything suga does ages like a fine wine
Omg ! THE LAST, this is so raw , s0 powerful and Suga vulnerability and tge way he deliver this song so intense abd strong emotions. Yoongi , no wonder youre so my bias! I love him so much!
You may want to pay the 55 dollars to stream suga's concert this weekend (saturday and sunday) i saw the japan show in the theater and even though the price is a bit steep for an online concert it is am AMAZING concert and with him going into the military this year it is worth every penny. I wish i had a dvd of that concert. Soooooo good.
yes why can't we get a dvd!!?
Yeees!!DVD!!! His concert was soooo good!!
Am having a severe post concert depression after seeing him live for 2 days in singapore. His energy was insane. Carrying 23 songs show by himself is not easy but he does it so freaking well!! His showmanship is on another level, unmatched! He growled and swore a lot too which made the show even hotter!! 🔥🔥
I love that you listened to this mix-tape. I always just want to listen to SUGA! LOL Looking forward to D-2 and D-DAY
Suga is a very respected producer (nicknamed The Hand of Midas by media) not only in K-pop. He has produced songs for American artists as well. He has said that he’s really three people: Suga, Agust D, and Producer Suga.
"The Last" was my favorite of his until "Amygdala" came out. It's still one of my faves for sure.
Omg same here. My top 3 were The Last - Burn it - Shadow but then Amygdala came out and skiped over everything. 💜
45:15 He ends his concert with this song, and after that final SHIT, just turns around and walks off the stage. Lights up, show's over, nothing else except that "SHIT" ringing in your ears. Fuck. So intense. I'm not sure if he did this for the Asian part of his tour, but at least during the last show in the US he did wave his arms goodbye while walking away as a sort of acknowledgement. Whew
Yes, he waved goodbye in the last show in every country.
Rapline's early mixtapes are criminally amazing, their early hunger was so clear in every song and Yoongi's flow is always a treat lol
Great reaction, glad you enjoyed
Muted from 9:00 until 18:00
Edit: also from 27:00 until 30:00
51:00 to 54:00
57:00 to 1:00:00
August d is so criminally underrated... Thanks for doing this video!
it is Suran, korean RnB singer. suga also produced a song for suran titled wine and won various awards in 2017
this album is truly legendary and every song is amazing
When listening to bts group/solo albums it's always better to listen to the order of songs in the album.. theres a reason why they put them that way :)
I love this album start to finish, and while The Last was so special to many of us before, once we got D-Day, Amygdala just means that much more. And yeah one you hear the album in order you can see the change in tone throughout it as he deals with things.
So are you listening to these albums to watch the concerts this weekend? I'm really not ready for the tour to be over. 😥
Hah you are right he has serious swag for days. D1 is such a raw album with filthy beats he created. And yes blonde AgustD has a chokehold on the fandom. So Far Away is my favorite it’s so poignant and The Last is honest in a way about mental health in a way that had to shock people. He wrote and produced a song for Suran (who sang the chorus in So Far Away) called Wine that ended up winning many awards including for him as a producer (he is not featured in the song he didn’t have the time so it’s a rapper mutual friend that features with her in it. Anyhow as well as the other two AgustD albums I’ll recommend the sings he wrote for BTS like Tomorrow and Jump. And his interludes always go harder than they have any right to do so.
I'm in love with how in love he is 😅 me too bro. Me too
everytime i listen to the last it hits me even harder even years later. it quite literally breaks my heart. while towards the end of the song he lets everyone listening know that he is now doing okay and has worked through his struggles it still makes me sad to know how much he struggled as someone who also suffers from anxiety and depression. i don't know if you caught it or if the stream informed you after but at @38:35 where you hear the beep after he says "the doctor asked me" he meant the doctor asked him if he ever wanted or thought about committing su!c!de and he says yes. :( this entire track was so powerful. in korea even talking about your mental state is taboo and EVEN more so to put it in a song which is why he beeped the doctors question.
The lady singing on 'So far away' is Suran... she is from Busan where V and JK are from. Thank you for another good reaction - I'm really enjoying watching your BTS journey... 💜
Jimin and JK are Busan boys. V is from Daegu,as is Yoongi.
@@atlantis315 Of course..rushing as usual... thankyou... I'll leave it so your post makes more sense !
Please feel free to stop in order catch all the bars❤
Agust D never disappoints, if you love diss track then you’ll absolutely love the cyphers by the rapline (suga, rm and jhope)
If you think his criticism of Corporate Companies nd Toxic Fans/Haters was good now wait till you get to his most recent mixtape D-Day (really his inner turmoil nd criticism of Society, Capitalism, Greed etc) nd when you do I hope you really go over the lyrics of Haegeum especially since it seemed u missed some of the point the first reaction
Each of the members brings something amazing to the group and all of them have individual songs that people find relatable, as well as group songs. That's one of the main reasons why ARMY loves them so much. I hope that you will be able to take the time to watch J-Hope's full Lollapalooza performance, although you'll probably have to break it into at least 2 parts to post it. He broke records with that performance and drew a LOT of new people into discovering BTS and it's members. He performs songs from his mix tape, his album that he released last year, as well as a few songs from the BTS discography. It was truly incredible.
I knew he would be IT for you. I know you will like the rest but I'm confident that he will stay your favorite. Which is fine, can't blame.a man for having taste! =D
I just want to point out that all those years ago, the first song on his first mixtape, he is calling out his producer and boss and CEO of Big Hit, by name, Bang Sihyuk, with no titles and honorifics. Being able to call out his producer in his music alone is a flex, but without honorifics? It shows how they were treated in their company and how much respect they had as artists from the beginning, when they were just kids. Bang is really a one-of-a-kind visionary, and he really believed in them.
I can't wait for you to listen to the other members! and maybe the BTS cyphers in the future 🤭
give it to me live so good ..with live band..
The translations are awful. I don’t know who did this playlist but they chose some of the worst translations I’ve read. A lot of nuances were lost and they literally changed some lyrics too
I think you will enjoy RM’s mono mixtape/playlist. Lyrics are also 👌🏼
The way I disslike copyshitre laws sometimes. But I guess as always thanks to the Iditos who made them necessary.
Nice reaction but the order of traks as a flow and meaning
