Tbh I love the multiple meanings behind this song. Because it was about TXT’s journey as rookies underneath the huge shadow of BTS as their brother group and being scrutinized left and right. But it was also about the story of the Puma that escaped the Korean zoo and was shot dead before it could even go anywhere. It escaped back into its environment from captivity and it wasn’t even given the chance of life, it was just killed on spot. Just like TXT wasn’t really given any time to prove themselves and what they could as a group before they started facing criticism and scrutiny.
I blame BigHit. They pushed TXT out and immediate had them doing an extremely similar concept to BTS so instead of seeming like their own group, they were BTS lite. I'm glad they have a more edgy concept for this album, it helps separate them more from BTS and lets them be their own group.

@FoxyWhite , I don't think bts and txt are similar at all like @Zully B said, the general ideas of pains of growing up and other things are similar, but the way they have conveyed their messages since their debut has always been very unique to them and their different style, I also think that the edgy concept works very well for them however even the cute and more youthful sound of crown was still very fitting and presented their individuality with no comparison to Bts's concepts.

It's just that people don't like the fact that they're privileged and think that everything they've achieved has been bc of bts.
I was honestly SCREAMING when the mv came out for puma! It was and still is my favourite song on the album and I really was hoping to someday see a dance, and honestly so happy they decided to do it. I definitely agree performance wise I prefer this as well cause of how hard they go at it, its pretty hard to make a dance look powerful when doing such theatrical moves but they're really doing it so well~ also never looked up what the meaning of the song was, so its really nice to know now, and it gave me even more respect :)

Puma is my favourite b-side track on the album, so when I saw that they dropped the MV out of nowhere, I freaked out a little, and then I really lost it because it's INSANE :') I agree that their performance skills / immersement into their roles are brilliant - I can't help but wish they would all star in a k-drama at some point.

i thought that you would enjoy this choreo a lot more! i’m not sure what other choreos of txt you’ve reacted to but i HIGHLY recommend: CROWN, Can’t We Just Leave The Monster Alive, New Rules, Blue Orangeade, Angel or Devil txt only debuted in march 2019 but they are EXTREMELY talented and hard-working. you can tell they practice nonstop and the results are always amazing. imo, they’re one of the top 3 in my list that has perfect synchronization, execution and charisma. when i watched them for the first time, i literally couldn’t tell who is the lead/main dancer because they’re all so talented. i think you should look more into them, i promise you won’t regret it! this is only the beginning for them and they’re already SO amazing!
I also prefer Puma performance wise. I LOVE the choreo a lot. Also, if you like theatrics and committing to character, I'd suggest Dr. BeBe by Pentagon. I fell in love with the choreo because of the persona they conveyed through it and it was so infectious I started expressing that persona myself. Puma honestly makes me feel the same way and I plan on learning that as well.

Really? I've found quite a good decent amount of reaction videos to "Puma". Not as much as their title track "Can't You See Me?" MV of course, but I still found more reaction videos than I expected for this B-side. Might depend on how you look up the words in the search, especially because the MV title is almost all Korean. I personally don’t think it’s better than Can’t You See Me but it’s the best b-side suited for an extended promotion. I didn’t think that deeply about the song when I listened to the album it was good like every song on that album but I didn’t immediately think of it as my favorite or anything. When I thought of my favorite songs of the album I thought of Drama, Can’t You See Me, and Fairy of Shampoo. However, I feel like the MV and the performance makes me appreciate the song more. I hold the song in higher regards than I did before, which is saying something because this is my favorite album of 2020. Even though I love the song I don’t really think it’s better than Can’t You See Me. I literally got chills when I listened to Can’t You See Me the first time.

Really? I've found quite a good decent amount of reaction videos to "Puma". Not as much as their title track "Can't You See Me?" MV of course, but I still found more reaction videos than I expected for this B-side. Might depend on how you look up the words in the search, especially because the MV title is almost all Korean. Don't know why Bighit didn't include english words for "Puma" in the title.

I personally don’t think it’s better than Can’t You See Me but it’s the best b-side suited for an extended promotion. I didn’t think that deeply about the song when I listened to the album it was good like every song on that album but I didn’t immediately think of it as my favorite or anything. When I thought of my favorite songs of the album I thought of Drama, Can’t You See Me, and Fairy of Shampoo. However, I feel like the MV and the performance makes me appreciate the song more. I hold the song in higher regards than I did before, which is saying something because this is my favorite album of 2020. Even though I love the song I don’t really think it’s better than Can’t You See Me. I literally got chills when I listened to Can’t You See Me the first time.
