  • A little preview of what to expect tomorrow for the big day at Macungie PA, the Antique Truck Club of America's 2023 show. These shots were taken Thursday afternoon as all the trucks began filing in one after the next to get set up. Tomorrow, Saturday, is the big day. I feel it's going to be quite the turnout. Enjoy the trucks, and stay tuned for the convoy tomorrow night!
    Thanks for watching!

    I really need to catch a truck show or two, I could look at them all day. Riding in a coal truck in the mountains really gets in the blood as 70’s kid. 🐾✌️🇺🇸

      If you buy an older truck get a heavy duty model at least at first, like a Mack because parts can still be found for most of them. But you can work a HD truck like pulling low boys and it’ll pay for itself. An old road truck not so much. Maybe an Autocar if you live up north. Good luck either way, the CDL is a breeze 🐾✌️🇺🇸

    The east coast iron looks like it would beat a person silly!
    Short wheel base, spring or walking beam suspensions, spent too many years in the Inland N.West woods, lowboy, logging etc!
    Good looking old iron though. 😊

    The mack with the Ford f100 was awesome. This whole show was epic. The Ford model a sitting in the grass. (I'm not sure if that's a model a or not, but its a truck.) 6:49 The Brockway was knocking? I've never heard a diesel knock.

    I was hoping to see a Hayes HDX or a Pacifc P16 off road logging truck. My uncle used to drive those logging trucks and they are absolutely amazing and beasts. Seems like theyre harder to come by now'a days. The only ones I've personally seen outside of the logging industry were refurbished by an enthusiast collector.

    To the Jake Brake Cowboy in the beautiful red and black B 7?? Mack, short bursts on the Jake may be good for the EGO but don't do the engine any good.

    American 'semi' prime-movers (in the US), are boring compared to their multi-axeled/multi-wheeled counterparts in New Zealand. Check out the NZ truckie sites. Then there's our Aussie mates across 'the ditch.'

  • @allan9603
    @allan9603 Před rokem +1

    The show program guide clearly stipulated "No horns or Jake brakes please..."
    Also at the entrance of the town there are signs that say " Please refrain from using horns and Jake brakes.."
    Clearly, at least 2 Jerks can't read and follow rules!

      People need to realize that you cant have one of the biggest and best truck shows on the planet without showing off air horns or engine brakes. And the majority of it happens Saturday afternoon from 1-5 ish. Residents can suck it up for a few hours, they all live right next to a double-tracked main line railroad where trains blow horns non stop day and night

    comparing to eu truckshow these are boring essentialy there are 2 types of trucks petershit and kenbrick both are ugly and both are kitted with chrome and 1 type of collor and orange lights.
