  • This is a topic I've been thinking about more and more lately. Trimet has been slowly removing the rush-hour express services and replacing them with all-day local service. That has pros and cons, but it means that the express network is shrinking. As I said in the video, I feel like it makes sense to be financially smart and make good decisions as a transit system. But, you also need satisfied customers. Removing the express routes isn't the best course of action to please riders, but it does make sense financially (and it allows all-day service rather than commuter oriented service)

I remember when I was younger, riding TriMet buses from Tigard to PDX, I mainly rode on line 12, and I rarely, if not never saw a line 64 bus. this showed why. Thanks.

Line 30E would take the cake for most unique bus line that TriMet has ever had. You see basically farm land and a downtown of a major city in a single bus ride.

Looks like you're growing a mustache. One day, one day you'll be up on that desk in the Board room

Zac, I'm not going to stop bugging you to get a new mic. These talking head format videos are super informative but the sound is shite. 🙃
