I was strung out on drugs and had totally ruined my life...again, when I watched Furtick for the first time. I believe the sermon was titled "God's about to flip it". I just want to share that was a pivotal moment, and I won't forget. that sermon gave me hope when I had absolutely none left. God is restoring my life to His glory each day, and I live blessed. For many years I had given up my dream to join the military because I got comfortable yet everyday I felt empty and disappointed of myself for not taking the next step yet I touched bottom and for the grace of god I finally took that extra step and now I’m leaving for basic training on a few weeks, god is good, there isn’t anything impossible when you have god by your side, don’t give up, if you fail try again and never ever forget to thank god for the good and the bad because of all those experiences will take you to exactly where you’re supposed to be, god of the impossible, god of love, I thank you for never letting me down even when I felt empty and alone! God always refured to her like a John the Baptist. Someone has got to bring the power of God back. For it says in revelation that people will have the apperance of Godliness, but not the power there of. And she doesn't mind listening to you preach I really like the was you put yourself right there with use. I appreciate your love for honestly, and leadership in God's word. I moved to Charlotte almost 4 ago due to a job and as a result my girlfriend and I have been questioning where God is leading in many areas as she is in Orlando. Pastor Steve shared something that she recorded to send to me and dwell on from the sermon. Pastor Furtick said 'Jesus Christ wants to recatagorize some of the things in your life that you saw as a coincidence. Many of you came to Charlotte for that new job. Is it a coincidence you are in Charlotte or is it an assignment?' As soon as he finished that question my text came over to her that said 'Yes and Okay.' So is it a coincidence that we ask God for direction, hear a message that speaks exactly what we are questioning then have someone who is connected respond to something else that answers the exact question from the sermon asked? I don't see a coincidence rather I see the FOG (Favor of God)!
Thinking of the coincidence: I met a man ( I did not want to meet that night) through an acquaintance. That man showed up and was utilized as the difference to help pull me out of the darkest times of my life! Now walking with Christ and I am thankful every day for the ‘coincidence’ of KH...
I really love his preaching! I feel like I have grown spiritually which spills over into my physical life. I do pray for him about glorifying certain rock music, though and saying that he is teaching it to his sweet son. It saddens me bc I know first hand how that music can have a hold on your life. My days of doing drugs were fanned by the lyrics and sounds of Kurt Cobain, casting crows, Jimmy Hendrix, Rush, ac/dc etc. If you are not familiar, please research and see how the Lord leads you to pray. The lyrics do get into your spirit. I pray that the Lord will reveal the truth to him. We leave behind our worldly ways when we come to Jesus. But, only God can remove our desire for them. Please stand with me in prayer over this issue for this great man of God!!! Bless you!

Just a quick testimony; Pastor I watched you preach this sermon online Sunday. I kept saying to myself “how does this apply to me - my life - my journey?” - the Lord is SNEAKY! He wore a costume yesterday and I received an answer. It wasn’t the Devil who appeared as my co-worker who was just coming back from 2 weeks out for surgery. It wasn’t the Devil who spoke with frustration over a mess I created while trying to help while she was out. Oh no, it was the Lord! He came to show ME just how relevant this was to my life and journey! I love this, I have been running away from my challenges, conflicts, hurdles, and rollercoasters because I am scared to fail but I need to run to them. I am done having dysfunctional comfort. I need the risk I need the hard so I can go after what I want. Maybe I will be a successful youtuber, maybe my story will be heard, maybe I will give to the world. I do know that God is with me. That is enough. I am done with the doubt, the uncertainty, the past, the pain, the heartache. I am focusing on God and with him, my future will happen. Introducing myself to new people is not hard. Learning new things is not hard. I am making it hard because I am afraid, I am done being afraid. Why not use all of those as my inspiration.

Pastor Furtick... thank you thank you for confirming the word of God & bringing me revelation I am watching this sermon today on the 27th of October after a very needed surprise leadership summit at my home church earlier this week taught by a very dear & powerful-spiritual couple who confirmed the word of God my spiritual man was preaching to us these past few weeks & actually the past 7 days and here I am 2 days after gaining so much healing and restoration to hear your word confirming the things I learned this week! God is good! While I have my home church thank you for accepting my seed on behalf of WTC LV ~psalms 91 / Colossians 3:2 ~ & HAPPY PASTOR APPRECIATION MONTH ( we've streamed in to your online word for a midweek bible study a couple months ago... it had to happen! I love this, I have been running away from my challenges, conflicts, hurdles, and rollercoasters because I am scared to fail but I need to run to them. I am done having dysfunctional comfort. I need the risk I need the hard so I can go after what I want. Maybe I will be a successful youtuber, maybe my story will be heard, maybe I will give to the world. I do know that God is with me. That is enough. I am done with the doubt, the uncertainty, the past, the pain, the heartache. I am focusing on God and with him, my future will happen. Introducing myself to new people is not hard. Learning new things is not hard. I am making it hard because I am afraid, I am done being afraid. Why not use all of those as my inspiration.
Simple to understand, this is the grace.
Thanks you for sharing the word of God in the darkest time of my life, every sermon from you is related to my Situation. I hope one day I can went to your church ! even though I am in a far away country now.
