I used to play this piece many years ago. Yours is the best performance I have ever heard. You played it so beautifully, and you kept the underlying passacaglia theme going at all times. Your tone and intonation in the double stops was gorgeous. Thank you very much.
Beautiful lilting performance of one of my favourite pieces. Wonderful idea of pairing a Baroque bow with a modern violin. It's very interesting to compare the tone of this combination with that of your other videos using the modern bow: there's a definite increase in clarity and delicacy, with only a little strength lost. Great idea!

In the process of working thorough this piece. Just wondering: In the first 6 bars or so, there are dotted quarters, do you carry them throughout the measure? I noticed, for example, that you just added the B-flat and dropped the G after that. Opinions anyone?
I'm an absolute beginner at violin but I notice you don't seem to be observing the rests in the first two measures. Am I right? I do enjoy your playing very much, Inger.
