Why are the opposition parties not bringing a legal challenge to the Government, forcing them to adhere to the 'Lisbon Treaty'?? With regards immigration, the Government of Denmark was able to enforce their rights under the treaty to the 'EU'.

    They are economic migrants..

  • @DavidMoloney
    @DavidMoloney Před 3 měsíci +17

People across the country are very angry not with migrants but with the government and most of the opposition parties. The Irish are being discriminated when it comes to housing, healthcare and schooling.
The Irish by nature don’t hate others, however they do get angry because they have a strong sense of injustice that they will talk about and act against. It is the governments injustices that are the cause of vigilantism, the protests, blockages, division in society, fear of foreigners, arson and the anti-immigration riot in Dublin. The government have lost all credibility and citizens don’t trust anything they say as they have been lies to.
The government dysfunctional immigration procedures is endangering the lives of citizens. They allow asylum seekers into the country without passports or any security checks, their application should not be entertained. Asylum seekers that have applied for asylum in other EU countries, should be returned to the first EU country where they made an asylum application, they should not be entertained.
Taking in Asylum seekers is not sustainable. Presently there are 21,000 asylum seekers a year coming in, where will the Government house an extra 21,000 a year? There are millions around the work that could claim asylum as there are 27 armed conflicts worldwide. Most of the political parties have an open door policy and follow the directions of unelected bureaucrats in Europe.
The government promised asylum seekers their own accommodation in 12 weeks, are now giving them tents which is inhumane. The government take years to process applications and appeals that is causing great hardship for asylum seekers.
There is no link between violent crimes and the non-Irish is a Lie by Government
    a. The government along with most of the opposition have an open door policy, they call decent and concerned citizens with fears for their safety far-right and racists, who are concerned by the recent stabbing of three children and child carer in Dublin, the murder and beheading of two gay men in Sligo and the murder in daylight of a young female teacher in Offaly, there has been sexual assaults, all by foreigners. Towns and cities are becoming no-go areas.
    b. The government are covering up the crimes of the 'Non Irish' by omitting nationality of origin in crime figures. 20% of those in prison are non-Irish. A disproportional number of murders are committed out by non-Irish, 5 of the 12 murders last year were by non-Irish. Statically foreigners don’t commit crimes because there are not recorded as perpetrators of crimes.
    c. From other European countries that record crimes and the nationality of origin of culprits we learn that a disproportional number of crimes are committed by outsiders. Every week there are reports on TV of crimes by non-Irish, some barbaric. Denmark have records that show Middle Easterners and Africans commit violent crime in Denmark at upwards of 9 times the rate of native Danes. In Italy 40% of sexual violence is committed by immigrants that are 10% of the population.
    d. Parents now drive their children everywhere for personal safety. School girls are stalked, stared at and harassed by groups of single men.
    e. What adds to the fear is that asylum seekers are not vetted. The department stated in response to a TD’s question that asylum seekers are not checked against any criminal databases in Europe or their country of origin.
    f. Those in favour of the influx are those looking to profiteer by providing accommodation and services and their friends also leftie snowflakes.
    g. There is a high number of gardai call-outs to asylum seekers and international protection centres because of fighting with knives. Also fighting on the streets and stealing from shops. The Gardai make very free arrests.
The priority should be to reduce the number of asylum seekers in the country, this could be done by.
    • Speeding up the asylum applications and appeals that currently take years. How can it take so long to ask an asylum seeker their reason for applying for asylum and to make a decision? It is overly bureaucratic, ineffective and inefficient.
    • Asylum seekers who arrive without passport can never be deported. There should be a passenger manifest that include scans of passports, fingerprints and boarding cards recorded at time of boarding for all passengers that is electronically shared on a database, so passengers without passports can be identified by scanning their fingerprints and checking against a database. Without passports asylum seekers applications should not be processed.
    • By EU Law (Dublin Agreement), countries can send asylum seekers back to the EU country where they were initially processed. When asylum seekers are processed they are checked against the Eurodac database to find if they applied for asylum in another EU country. How many asylum seekers did the government find last year to have applied for asylum in another EU country? and how many did they send back to the first EU country where they applied for Asylum?
    • The 60% whose application are rejected should be deported asap.
    • Clear the backlog of applications it would be interesting to know how many and how long it will take.
Those in favour are people and their friends that want to profiteer in accommodating and providing services to the unvetted. Also, some loony lefties and do gooders. They are blacklisted on other platforms.

    • @dcp7449
      @dcp7449 Před 3 měsíci +2

Excellent points very clear. The point in relation to passports and fingerprints makes a lot of sense. No one can board a plane without valid ID and some airlines insist on a passport, so all that information is there . The more I read and listen I fear that this is all by design and will not end well for Irish society, it appears that our politicians have sold the country and it's citizens to the EU and other powers. Because it makes no sense the policies they are trying to enforce on us the people. The misleading information on the upcoming referendum and the moves in motion to control peoples right to free speech. This is a turning point in Irish history, one the country may never return from.😢😢😢

Sadly, the Gardai too, are being seen as the enforcers of destructive mass immigration, this turns local patriotic people against them, and undermines good police-work. The local com😂munity is degraded by this situation.
The quality of life is dropping for everyone, this can be stopped by effective policies that stop asylum abuse, hospitality abuse, and casual people smuggling. This shouldn't be hard to do.

  • @krulwurld1791

Extremely well put. It’s refreshing to hear a bit of balanced logic. A case of multiple mismanaged obligations. Do it but make fiscal and social sense while protecting the integrity of our defining borders. We have a tax base of 5M while other European countries have 20 times that or more. Basics.
With no existing surplus of rental properties, the government with deep pockets is bidding for resources, directly or through proxy NGO’s, against tax paying citizens. Mathematically, the only way to provide for such a massive number, is to displace existing tenants. The next step is inevitably to assume state ownership of private citizens homes - it’s already starting with holiday homes. Not just that but the govt can force others to provide resources by fiat as in the case of the HSE and doctor lists.
Many rural communities have only tourism as a source of income. This means hotel, b&b and holiday accommodation is the engine of the local economy. Wiping out a local economy with a cavalier stroke of a pen, shouting “Look at me, I have solved all problems” is not what they were elected for. It’s changing a local tourism based economy into a social welfare based one which means that anyone with a scrap of ambition or mouths to feed will have to move on - but where?
Using citizens money against them has always ended badly. Worse still, borrowing money, that the citizens must repay, for this purpose. It smacks of predatory behaviour. They’re spending like drunken sailors.
I’ve heard people ask “How hard would it be to bundle 2000 Irish in with every 5000 refugees and look after them really properly. If they can afford one they can afford the other.”. Communities would be clamouring for migrants.
Of course citizens are concerned and it doesn’t help that, if this exact speech was made by a citizen on a street corner, it would be labelled as far-right, racist, xenophobic hate speech. This demonisation of common sense flows like water off a duck’s back when it comes to the Irish - historically, much worse has been done when the Irish sought justice. It’s an old, tired and transparent ploy. The local response seems to be a version of “yer ma”. And rightly so. The truculent demeanor of our ministers as they try to deal with logical questions speaks volumes. Not good optics.
The people I know who migrated to Drogheda (we have a hospital and are near Mosney and have been multicultural for some time) in a trickle over the years and integrated are running into the same problems as native Irish. The majority of Irish citizenry are over this govt behaviour- they think it’s incompetently done. I know of Filipina nurses displaced from a shared house because of the government’s deal. Even doctors recently hired from abroad. Even naturalised citizens. Even migrants who left Mosney and integrated are caught up in some of it. They’re taxpayers. Guess where they stand on this, even as immigrants themselves.
One person translated a saying to the effect that “great evil often consists of doing good deeds badly” or similar.
A trickle has worked well but a tsunami is not just a very big trickle. Ireland is beginning to look like a clown car. You know: the small circus car with 20 clowns in it. Everybody watching them trying to fit everyone in, splitting their sides laughing.
Of concern are the college towns. Purpose built student accommodation is not necessarily owned by the college but by private landlord companies- they’re all going for the best deal. Our students are in trouble, and even the colleges themselves may face hardship. That this wasn’t thought of speaks volumes. College towns need waivers.
Let’s not forget the vulture funds who bought up property and have absolutely no reason to care in any way for Irish citizens. The government will always have the deepest pockets and the vulture funds are mandated to maximise returns for their foreign investors. And they can buy, buy, buy.
What has a lot of people concerned in rural and impoverished areas is that apparently recent migrants will be able to vote in local elections. Unlike well settled migrants who have had time to absorb the local nuances, it is feared they will be seen as voting in a bloc - and that a promises for votes bidding war will break out among candidates, and that locals will be ignored. They may see themselves as beholden to the current government and vote accordingly - kind of accidental gerrymandering. Indeed it also appears that recent migrants can be candidates, so if sufficient numbers are moved in they may be able to elect a representative of their own and some parties may encourage this. At least one party is committed to getting new migrants on the electoral register and there’s nothing wrong with that.
In case anyone thinks that this is just a reactionary Irish person: I was born over 4000 miles from here and lived in 2 other countries before moving here, but I do have one Irish parent and have been here many, many decades.

€86 million wasted on Asylum Seekers Accommodation
RTE News 23rd Feb, said 2,151 vacant beds in the system.
2,151 beds at €110 per bed per night by 365 days in a year = €86 million.
The owners get paid regardless of the number of beds occupied.
