EBay follows the old adage "The buyer is always right" to the maniacal extreme.

As a Buyer and a Seller it's extremely bad both ways. Atleast as an American buying in America only it is. And everytime I call Ebay it's a foreigner that answers from Phillipines..
Funny I just got my sellers account banned for “ undisclosed reasons “ now all my money I had in sellers account in between transactions is supposedly frozen for up to 170 days?
Like what ??? They can just do that. Yes absolutely happened last week.
3 years 100% feedback. Over 1000 transactions as seller. Just madness. Now 400£ frozen for how ever long ….
Had that a few years ago. £300 and I needed it for an event I was going to.
Did the buyer agree to the 50 partial refund then they changed their minds?

Unfortunately if a buyer gives any reason its not as described, Ebay will accept the return, leaves a seller open to a lot of problems. Shocking customer support, there in the wrong but what are you gona do about it thats the problem, they know there probably not gona be sent and legal letters as the costs and stress are not worth it for most people. There just trying to fob you off with nonsense as it works out alot easyer and cheaper for Ebay to screw people over with sub standard service.
True. But in a few years when nobody is using them they'll say what happened? Where did our customers go? What ever happened to the Monopolies commission?
Ebays Customer Service is so bad. It is ALL Foreigners at Ebay it seems for help..

Ebay, I absolutely hate it. Selling on eBay is needless stress. They pounce on us sellers if a buyer complains. I sell the odd item on it nowadays & it always puts me on edge till I receive good feedback if the seller can be arsed. I use gumtree now… never had a problem with it & its all free, sold way more stuff on there, you just have to be patient when selling stuff because obviously it’s not as popular as Ebay. Hope to f.uck you’ve got what you are you owed.. all this hassle because some simpleton from scotland didn’t understand ‘collection only’ 🙆🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️
Thank you. Wish the buyers would contact you instead of Ebay. I'm definitely done with Ebay, I don't use Gumtree anymore because of all the scammers plus it's actually owned by Ebay.
@@BlueHToysI understand that but gumtree is less hassle no fees, the amount I’ve sold where people actually pick up the items I’m selling. No fees either. But ebay pretty much sums up the world we care living in now… daft, stupid, senseless… & greed
