I have always adored this song, Emoni has an incredible voice, but there's something magical that happens when it's just her and Geoff harmonizing at the beginning of the song that just melts my heart.
I think this was very much Voiceplay assuring us (and maybe themselves) that they would be fine after Earl left. Their first song after he left - Heart of Life was so hard to watch. A lot of emotion. If you do watch Just sing, be sure to have the captions on and don’t be afraid to stop frequently to read them. You’ll learn a lot about people in the Voiceplay universe.
VoicePlay went through a lot of changes during the pandemic times. Losing Earl who was a founding member was a hard hit, then J None left for improved financial stability with the Navy, and their behind the scenes guy, Rek (who was honored during the Halo cover.) This song is definitely symbolic of their ethos and is on one of my playlists.
Recent things that Emoni has done with them are Just Sing, which you heard a snippet of at the end of this video, and their Wicked Medley (which also features Rachel Potter). Highly recommended both of those!
Eli is a miracle of Nature. He's an "actor voice" (Sandy Claus in Oggie Boogie Song, Frolo's assistant in Hellfire, The Grinch in You're a mean one Mr. Grinch, etc.). Beside this, his nickname (well won) is "Rock God" (Black Hole Sun, Seven Nation Army, etc.). But, in real life, when speaking, his voice is very soft and sweet. Incredible !!!

Never heard this song by VP - that was beautiful!! True what you said about Emoni, Eli and J's performances here. You will definitely enjoy "Just Sing" - says a lot about VP outside of singing. Just make sure you have closed captions on 😉🌹🕊

This is the second piece they did after Earl left in 2020. The first one was The Heart of Life.
I always felt like HoL was the grief and this song was a healing positive look to the future. I love them both they always feel so emotional.

Emoni is amazing. You should check out VP's "Wicked Medley," it has the lovely ladies Rachel Potter AND Emoni! It's almost too much good stuff!💙
