Je connaissais la face A de ce disque depuis une dizaine d'années, grâce à la webradio Bide et Musique. Merci à vous d'avoir aussi mis la face B. Car la face A "Un cri du coeur" est dans la série "Les Inécoutables" sur Bide et Musique. Alors qu'en faites, si on écoute la face B, on se rend compte que, quand elle chante en anglais, cette chanteuse n'avait pas une mauvaise voix. Mais quand elle chante en français, elle prend un accent insupportable !
For those of us who do not speak French we hear Evie's voice; it's quality and not the accent as we are not privy to the perfection you seek...but this is one hell of a vocalist who deserves our utmost respect.
I understand that the last syllables in the lines at the beginning of the French version are retained for a bit too long and sound flat/out of tune. However, the effort of writing lyrics and singing in two languages is admirable and this is not easy to sing anyway, because it moves in two registers. Her French pronunciation is excellent.
