Sportsnet and other networks have reported the possibility of a Zegras to montreal.
Zegras (22 Years Old), has 4 goals & 7 Points in 20 Games this season with the Anaheim Ducks.
Could a change of scenery benefit him?

If it wasn't for the injuries I'd be fully on board (depending on what Anaheim is asking for). But $5.75M for a guy that might never play or only play very limited games, we've been burned before.

As the story goes, Hughes had a potential trade for Monahan to go to the Ducks in a package for Zegras. Monahan took the time to do a video montage to show why the Habs should not get Zegras..... that's why Monahan ended up with the Jets.

Eyes open, it's not about Zegras the person. He is (and will always be) a very skilled perimeter player. A flashy stylistic player in the regular season. Habs already get pushed around. We are a small team. We get pushed around in the regular season .. playoffs ???? What do we give up????? Zegras is NOT a fit ... And you talking heads need to stop 'insinuating' any oblique reasons. He is too small, non physical, perimeter and NOT a fit for Habs.
What do we have that the Ducks want? nothing.
Ducks value size with skill. Look at their team/prospects. So any bigs we have ...esp Arbour.
