I feel like in the same way people group themselves to a certain denomination instead of just connecting to other Christians in Christ. I have nothing against a different denomination than mine, I still see everyone in Christ as my brother or my sister whether they are Baptist, Lutheran, Pentecostal, etc. Aren't we doing the same thing today? Oh I'm a Baptist! Oh I'm a Pentecostal! Denominations are fine because there are secondary differences but in our core beliefs we are all part of the body of CHRIST if you are abiding in him! For example, I am pentecostal and do not seek to change that, but I love my Baptist brothers and sisters and see them as part of my family in Christ. Just a thought I wanted to share.

So when Jesus says “if anyones work is burned up, he will experience loss but he himself will be saved-but only as through fire.” Does this not talk about purgatory or at least the concept of salvation through the burning of the soul? What does 1corinthians 3 mean?
First Corinthians 3 follows Paul's teaching that only spiritual people can understand the wisdom of God. Paul cannot fully call the Corinthian Christians spiritual people, though, because they continue to live of the flesh, as if they were still infants trapped in an immature condition.
