Leafs are forcing a game 7 without their 70 goal scorer. They have a rookie goalie in Woll, a former USA world junior gold winner, a rookie Boston College winger in Knies who has outplayed any Bruin. I thought the biggest choke in history was last year. Guess they want to keep that dubious record.

This is the team that Sweeney has built and its the same team he builds every year while he has been GM. Every season, it seems that we say that they need to get tougher and every year its the same crap. This is a soft team and its been soft since he has taken over. A soft defense, with players like Lindholm and Grzelcyk. No power forwards and absolutely no clutch players. Pastrnak never has a good post season because he is usually getting bounced around by everyone. If they had a couple of bigger, talented wings, he would play so much better but Sweeney likes the small, speedy, soft players. Their top prospect is a 5'10" Swede. Should I say more?

That's why I was gutted when we lost Lucic. We desperately need a Lucic on the team. However, Maroon has been doing a fantastic job being a true team player and standing up for the players. Sadly it's not enough. It really sucks. If you read the comment I posted in the main thread of this comment section, you will see that we share the same views. The organization needs to be gutted and rebuilt, and Pasta Gryz and Ullmark need to be traded away. We could get 4-6 tremendous forwards for what we pay those three wombats.

The most valuable players on this team at this point in the playoffs: Swayman, DeBrusk, Heinen, Frederic, Carlo, Boqvist, Beecher, Brazeau, Geekie, Maroon. Notice anything? All of these players combined still make less than Pastrnak. Only one of them is a top 6, DeBrusk, and he's taken more shade from us over the past few years from us than anyone on the team, and now when we really need him most, he's ACTUALLY showing up for us. I love Debrusk and I will support him to the end of the Earth. We get on his case for only playing well when he wants to. I don't buy it. Last year he played a game and scored the only two goals to win the winter classic WITH A BROKEN F*CKING LEG! He's carrying this team right now.
Am I the only person who thinks Pasta is a determent to this team? He turns the goddamn puck over every time he gets it on his stick. We can get an entire LW/C/RW second line for what we pay Pasta.
We are done this year guys. I'm just giving you the truth. We don't have it. From the coaching to the ice, we just don't have it. The only thing we have is goaltending, and we can't win if we have no defense and no scoring. This entire team needs to be torn down and rebuilt, from the coaching, to the players, to the staff that convert the arena at night, because they can't even put the boards up right, and we've had two goals scored against us because the puck took ''bizarre'' ''funny''' bounces off the back boards. News flash: Those bounces happened because the gaps on the boards are not lined up because the frames are bent or the brackets are damaged or bent. Am I the only one that can look at this entire organization right now and see that it's broken from the top down. Everyone acts like we actually have a chance to make a deep playoff run. This is a freaking joke, and I thank God I am not a ticket holder, because I would just burn the tickets and save myself the frustration. Notice how many empty seats there were on Tuesday night??? These are people that paid thousands per ticket, and have decided it's not even worth their time. They don't even care that they spent thousands on a ticket. Hello??????
IT'S TIME TO CLEAN HOUSE, MR. JACOBS!

B's need to come out hitting hard. Bundle the best/smallest guy on the ice (clean hit but hard). Get under their skin immediately. This team seems to crumble at home so you cant let them get their crowd into it. Start shooting early. Get a goal before the fans even get to their seat. If we win the # of shots we win easily. We have the better goalie/defense combo. Shoot the damn puck.

I almost want them to lose tomorrow so they have to make some big changes. Boston and Toronto both don’t stand a chance at getting out of the east. FLA or NYR are my picks. The Bruins have nobody to blame but themselves. Very winnable series and they’re just a mess out there making mistakes that a youth hockey coach would get upset about. Going to be a longgggg summer yet again!

Well.....the past come to us ......again!!!!! Lack of desire, lack of will .....they think they can win whenever they want.! If they beat the blues they will definitely fall to the Panthers

And the NHL wants it to go to 7, i wouldn’t be surprised if the NHL was in Sweeney and Montgomery’s war about them underplaying game 6 to send it to 7

    • @NatPat-yj2or
      @NatPat-yj2or Před měsícem

@@nickprincipi3575 Haha bro you might be right, but, the NHL is making insane revenue this year, and it's up year after year, as are the ratings. Also, they would really want Boston to advance multiple rounds, because the best possible finals matchups for the remaining teams for ratings are currently:
      Boston vs Edmonton
      Boston vs Vancouver
      Boston vs Colorado
      Toronto vs Colorado
      NYR vs Edmonton
....the NHL would want Toronto to get knocked out long before Boston. If they end up with 2 Canadian teams playing for the cup, the ratings will be terrible. They also don't want 2 American teams in the final. It's crazy... the ratings would drop 40% if Toronto played the final against a Canadian team. They do not want Toronto to advance if we look at it by the ratings perspective.

*ONE* shot on goal for the entire first period - in a Stanley Cup playoff game. Pathetic.
ps Its irrelevant. Either team will get the sh!t kicked out of them by Florida.

NO OTHER PRO TEAM HAS LOST MORE SERIES AFTER BEING UP 3-0 , OR 3-1 THAN THE BRUINS, PERENNIAL CHOKERS, AND THEIR $100 MILLION MAN PASTA IS BEING EATEN ALIVE BY THE LEAFS, LEAFS WIN 9-0, AS BOSTON BURNS
