- Frankfurt Airport is the largest airport in Germany and one of the largest hubs for intercontinental air travel worldwide. It serves as a hub for Germanys national airline Lufthansa and is an important station for the leisure airlines Eurowings Discover and Condor.
The size of the airport and its importance in the intercontinental airline network is also visible by the simply amazing variety of airlines and aircraft types visiting Frankfurt each day, and especially if you like the "queen of the skies" Boeing 747 Frankfurt is a must-visit since Lufthansa is one of the biggest operators of this magnificent aircraft. This video features departures out of runway 07C during the noon hours of a busy Tuesday.

Great view and new subscriber from Chicago, USA. Will be flying into FRA in early June aboard LH's 747-8! Great video.
Thank you very much and welcome to my channel. Enjoy your trip later this year!
Hi Joel
Great video , I was there for a week in October, as you say for the 747's but also A430 (6)
Good view from the Zeppelinheim, but the new fence for the T3 shuttle train & station could do with being just a little bit lower !!
Regards - Paul
Hi Paul, thanks for wathcing! I'm not 100% convinced of this spot either due to the buildings in front of the plattform and the light poles. I guess for photographing it is a bit better. But I must say that I am used to very high standards from ZRH when it comes to spotting locations..
@@ZurichAirportSpotter For sure you do, I'm looking forward to finding a few of them in July for myself !!!
3:25 Frankfurt to Fort Myers.... is an interesting route!
Yep, this was a new one for me as well.
Which Rolls-Royce aircraft is louder? 8:45 Trent 500 (A340) vs. 3:43 Trent 700 (A330) vs. 14:32 Trent 800 (B777)
I love the Condor livery how many colors do they have?
I like it as well. They have blue, red, green, yellow and beige, so five in total.
What if there was the 747-7i in there, exactly as same fuselage as the 747-400 but new aero technology?!?!
Wouldn't mat sense economically because the 747-400 is in the capacity range of the B777 and B777X which are more fuel efficient and have lower operations cost. From a plane spotters point of view I prefer a quadjet any time :)
I have a question: Has the 747-400 more passengers than the 747-8?
Yes, the capacity of the 747-8 is higher.
All Boeing Aircraft New Engine Options: 737 MAX, 747 Intercontinental, 777X, 787 Dreamliner
And 797 NMA. But I don’t know about it when it’s 2030…
WHAT IF that happens if there’s a 777-200LR, but later converted into the freighter, so which means it’s call a “777-200LR(BCF)”?!?
So that’s what the difference between the 777-F and the “777-200LR(BCF)”, really tricky though.
I don't know tbh, those numbers and letters stand for the configuration of the aircraft, but I don't know the details.
