Prior to watching your last Thursday's vid, I never even had heard of "Crumbl's). Yesterday I bought 4 cookies (churro, blueberry, chocolate 3 chip. and semi-sweet chocolate chunk flavors). Well, that's cause your're OLD! Like me! LOL Of course they can wear shorts to school. Back in our day, there were 'dress codes.' We had no air conditioning either and boys had to have long pants, no sandals/slides and when I was in grammar school, a collared shirt. That's all been more or less done away with now.

I'm up in the New York metro area so it doesn't get hot as early as it does down in Texas where you are and it also gets cool earlier in the fall. So it might be hot for only a week or 2 before school gets out and the same int he fall. Actually it's like 49 degrees right now. So when they spent $1.3 million in taxpayer dollars to air condition the grammar school, I hit the roof because it raised my taxes. I said to the board of education president 'why don't you just do what we did back in the day?' She said 'what was that?' I said 'we opened a window!' 😂
