  • In August 2020 we traveled to the southern shore of the beautiful Hardangerfjord in Hordaland County Folgefonna National Park and to the largest national park in mainland Norway - Hardangervidda National park.
    In Folgefonna National Park we hiked to one of Norway’s largest glaciers to discover stunning views of the glacier and surrounding landscape. This is quite a remote location and we were happy to overnight in our camper CrazyTroll after a day-hike to the glacier.
    Our journey continued through Hardangervidda National park and its diamond - Vøringsfossen waterfall and Sysen dam that holds back Lake Sysen.

    About Us:
    We are traveling across Norway with camper Hymer Eriba Troll 530 Rockabilly. Most of our trips are relatively short and start from Fredrikstad in Norway. For those who are limited in time, you might discover what you could see during a two-day or three-day trip in Southern Norway.

    How long did the hike to the glacier take?

    • @CrazyTroll
      @CrazyTroll  Před 2 lety

      It took us about 1,5-2 hours to reach middle of the lake, then it was not possible to continue the hike as trail just ended. It opens up when water level in the lake is lower. It might be way easier to hike to Svelgabreen nearby - hike is easier, takes bout 1 hour and you can come close to the ice if you wish.

      В Норвегии изначально людей не так много, а вот гор и удивительных мест очень много... Остается только открыть карту и выбрать что-то не туристическое! И можно наслаждаться тишиной, звездами, звуками ледника и колокольчиками овечек :) В Общем сбежать от цивилизации тут можно легко!
      Ну и если ВДРУГ! встретится редкий человек.. всегда можно чуть подождать чтобы он прошел... и снимать уже без лишних людей :)
