Same. I've seen this movie a lot as a kid, and I enjoyed it but didn't really see anything spectacular about it. Years later, I decided to rewatch it because I wanted to, and ooooh man. Totally different perspective. Now it's one of my favorite movies
This movie came out 26 years ago. The cinematography, direction, music, visual effects, emotion and romance still holds good even by today’s standards. Such a masterpiece. This film will always hold a firm place in history of world cinema.

The fact that people criticized Kate for being "too fat" shows how unrealistic and unhealthy beauty standards can be. She was, and is, absolutely gorgeous. Not to mention that her and Leo were perfectly cast for this film. A masterpiece from the whole crew and many thanks to the late James Horner for one of the best cinematic music soundtracks ever. RIP to him and everyone who lost their lives in the real sinking.

I'm towards the end of my 18 and for me it has been a little different. By the time I was 16 I was a blank slate. There wasn't any emotion at all. I didn't feel sad or happy, perhaps not even bored. It was like a dreamless sleep while being awake. My pet died and I wasn't sure if I was even feeling any grief at all. Sometimes my eyes would randomly tear up but my mind would be like, what is this? Could we be sad? Is it the dust? I didn't want to die because I hated life but because I didn't even feel alive, to me it felt there wouldn't be any difference. So I had decided I would spend my 17th year preparing for my death and put a deadline on my life as the day before my 18th bday. Almost a year has crossed the deadline, God I have never been this happy in my entire life. Not just happy, sad and angry as well. Never been this full of life. Never wanted to be alive so much before. My 18th year is my favourite year of my entire lifetime. I just mean to say, our situations could be entirely different, and I know my words would not be of any aid, but please stick around. Please stick around for longer and cling onto it, it really does change. Changes so much. Please wait till your situation changes. An advice: If it's your home life please wait till you're able to free yourself from it. If it's school please wait till graduation, or maybe take some amount of time off so as to give yourself a break. You will be surprised how much our surroundings matter.

I pre-purchased my tickets for the Christmas Day 1997 showing. The release! When I went to enter the theater there was a movie attendant who informed me the movie was oversold. There were people sitting on the stairs in the theater. You really don’t realize how time flies.. The movie was epic for its time and so real. People were more connected to history… it was a wonderful time to be alive.
Love like this does exist. I lost my wife almost 4 years ago. I think of her everyday The love for her stays with me forever. Unfortunately the pain of loss also stays with me. But her memory eases the pain.

Titanic will forever remain as one of the greatest movies of all time. Thank you James Cameron for presenting us this masterpiece of a film.

I'm towards the end of my 18 and for me it has been a little different. By the time I was 16 I was a blank slate. There wasn't any emotion at all. I didn't feel sad or happy, perhaps not even bored. It was like a dreamless sleep while being awake. My pet died and I wasn't sure if I was even feeling any grief at all. Sometimes my eyes would randomly tear up but my mind would be like, what is this? Could we be sad? Is it the dust?
I didn't want to die because I hated life but because I didn't even feel alive, to me it felt there wouldn't be any difference. So I had decided I would spend my 17th year preparing for my death and put a deadline on my life as the day before my 18th bday.
Almost a year has crossed the deadline, God I have never been this happy in my entire life. Not just happy, sad and angry as well. Never been this full of life. Never wanted to be alive so much before. My 18th year is my favourite year of my entire lifetime.
I just mean to say, our situations could be entirely different, and I know my words would not be of any aid, but please stick around. Please stick around for longer and cling onto it, it really does change. Changes so much.
Please wait till your situation changes.
An advice: If it's your home life please wait till you're able to free yourself from it. If it's school please wait till graduation, or maybe take some amount of time off so as to give yourself a break. You will be surprised how much our surroundings matter.

I pre-purchased my tickets for the Christmas Day 1997 showing. The release! When I went to enter the theater there was a movie attendant who informed me the movie was oversold. There were people sitting on the stairs in the theater. You really don’t realize how time flies.. The movie was epic for its time and so real. People were more connected to history… it was a wonderful time to be alive.
