Her speaking voice has changed a lot since the 1990's. It's deepened/a little rougher and scratchier. I'm sure (like all the other voice actors on the Simpsons) HAS affected their characters voices. For example, Moe sounds completely different today than he did in the 90's.

What's so great about the Simpsons is that it represents American and sometimes and Era of history in a very fun way and would become really an archive for our human history in general...
