Have you ever seen a velvet spider? What do you think of these fuzzy arachnids?
They look like stuffed animals! Love your vids :) can you do one about the linsang (Prionodon)?
I think they are facinatingly fuzzy! 🕷🕸🥰
This mother literally liquifies herself & dies to feed her kids ... talk about dedication 😳🥰🕷🕸
Yes I have and I think they're beautiful little spiders.
Yes lol raising six different species of them. Definitely love them!
Spiders get alot of hate they don't deserve, they are actually quite fascinating creatures
My mother didn’t sacrifice her life to me as a baby. She never voluntarily chose to wither away and die, just to give me the food to survive.
But she acts like she did.
nice
😂😂😂
Well your mom isnt a velvet spider
@@charlesdarlin3281 what if
@@LilThomas2010 that a story for another what if
This mother literally liquifies herself & dies to feed her kids ... talk about dedication 😳🥰🕷🕸
My mother did that once too except I didn’t eat her, but never saw her
😂
Evolution doesn't give choices so no actual dedication involved here.
If only there was another way for the mother to stay alive and make sure she can protect her children. Oh, wait it's a spider it can just go get food like a normal spider...
Yeah that means you need to step your game up "mom"
I just saw a red four dotted velvet spider a week ago on a mountain in hungary. It was pretty tiny and looked from its movings little like a jumping spider. Was beautiful and had a really strong intense red coloring
That's so cool!
@@ocagent9934 what do u mean? XD
Velvet spiders are freaking adorable
They're very pretty in my opinion
Unless your Ant-Man
So.. some Velvet spiders are basically just ants, living together in the hundreds, in a webby equivalent of an anthill?
This is adorable. A spider city.
Well, they don't live on the same continent as me, so at least it isn't terrifying.
@@Primalxbeast I dont find spiders scary if I see a spider I make sure its not a deadly one then if its not I just pick it up with ym hands and toss it outside if its deadly i get my flame thrower.
A spoodcity if you will
@@teagod2_214 And that is how you set your house on fire.
Seriously. Several people have burnt their house down by trying to set fire to a spider.
@@ocagent9934 You're going to hell. There is no saving you.
They are so cute, like a children’s story book spider
More like a German fairytale spider
@@ocagent9934 stop it. This isn’t the place to peddle conspiracies.
Mom: you need to eat me so you can grow up to be just like me.
Daughter:😳
in case you're still looking for animals to cover, I recommend Cuckoo wasps. I know you already covered parasitic wasps, but those Cuckoo wasps are so amazingly colourful, well worth a video on it's own - imo :)
Thank you for the suggestion!
Wow I thought the male preying mantis had it rough. But a few bites to the head and he is a goner. Coughing up your innards for your kids to feast on? That's a whole new realm of terror.
"Ah yes, me mum. She makes the greatest stew." "Really? What's it called?" "Mom soup." "Well, ok, what's in it?" "My mom." "WHAT THE FU-"
This creates a completely new meaning of "mom's spaghetti"
@@-R.E.D.A.C.T.E.D- i mean we could say it's her hair tho
@@ocagent9934 Already have. Also, what does he have anything to do with this comment?
@@ocagent9934 Wait no. You must be a bot. That's the only thing that makes sense.
@@ocagent9934 wait, so you aren't a bot.
That’s one of the most chill and visually stimulating spider-fight I’ve seen in since about Vietnam.
I wish we had these in North America. They look so cool and fun to hold!
I saw one of the red and black ones in a woodpile back in the summer and I live in eastern USA.
@@TripDering We also have jumping spiders that look pretty similar. Depending on where the wood was from though, it's possible.
@@MotionlessKnight Phidippus Apacheanus
@Rocky Mountain Way There's several jumping spiders that look like that as well.
I get my first velvet spider this weekend coming, captive bred 😍
Oh how exciting best of luck!
Such a beautiful creature
It's both vile and fascinating. I love learning new things. Especially when it comes to animals, insects, arachnids it doesn't matter to me. I've been watching animal documentaries since I was a very little girl.
Same. I love learning about animals! Glad you enjoyed the video!
Scott Lang: Those things were way cuter from afar
For some reason I was expecting the narrator to say "and just like that, this beautiful furball is all finished" in the end
Now thats motherly love.
Such a pretty spider thank you for sharing 😊
Those are cute spiders
This is great content! Confused how you guys don’t have 1 mil subs. Keep up the good stuff
Thanks so much 😭❤
Suddenly this video shows up in my recommendations. Cool channel!
Super cute spiders 😆 🤣
Love the white kitty.
That ladybug one is 🔥
1:00 lady bug spiders giving kissy kissy, how cute!!

Me: looking around my room before I watch this video
Never heard of these chaps before. Magnificent creatures!
So glad you learned something new!
One way to scare your kids into not having a baby early lol
Spider mother of the year 🕷
I'm so sad! I had no idea they died for their babies. 😢
smol eight-legged flufs, what more could we need
Aren't there really rare ones in the UK where the male gains ladybird like markings during the mating season, thus having the common name Ladybird spider?
The bigger the spider the bigger my arachnophobia
They do move kind of like jumping spiders! I love jumpers!
Evolution is fascinating
She really said 'come get yall juice'
Spider be like wtf man I'm sleeping in here 😴
Soooo pretty
Cute lil babies 😁💞
Soft fuzzy spiders that look like ladybugs and do group projects together before living as roommates. I LOVE THEM
@@ocagent9934 I beg your pardon?
Excellent narration voice!
Thanks so much!
Apparently I'm the 20th person to comment on this video. The female of this species is a devoted mom! She trades her own long-term survival in return for that of her children!
Good reason to not have children!
Wow! A very dedicated mom! Maybe you said this, but what about the father? After the mother dies her sacrificial death, does he then go find another mate and father several times over throughout his life?
Thanks for the video!
Both parents usually only survive one breeding season
Thanks😊
I love your voice and this was turbo interesting
So glad you found us and are enjoying the content!
Hachama be like: can I eat this
The abdomen looks like a button. I'm starting to think where the Beldam gets her spider form from.
In case u want to add more animals files to ur channel u can add aye-aye plz make a video on aye-aye plz plz plz I love it so much
it looks so fluffy
Look like the spider that may have inspired the spider man costume.
Sees thumbnail: imagine a plush of that plush looking spider.
Also they are so cute
(Also me: freaks when any spider crawls on me, but will let them live)
A plush would be adorable!
@@AnimalFactFiles honestly yes it would
@@ocagent9934 Dude. Please stop spamming.
I love velvet spiders, when I have my own place I so want to get one (my mom won't allow me to keep spiders rip)
You telling me the Spider-Man spider is real?
It's amazing what animals and insects will do to provide for their young.
The natural world is incredible
Naw, fuck that. Where's my flamethrower?
They look like miniature spider plushies
great vid, how about common yellowsack spiders?
literally the most terrifying loooking spider.
the little jumping spiders are the only cute ones.
I seen some Jumping Spiders with Velvet colors and they was lil big than common Jumping Spiders when I use yo to live in Southern California
Great video! Loved the images!🤩 Can you do one on quokkas?
We're working on a quokka video now! Be on the lookout for it!!
Really!?!?🤯 Woohoo! Thanks!🤩
Wow. What an amazing and beautiful arachnid
We agree!
So at 2:13, they turn into red and black velvet birds??? Woah!!
There have some found in America as well. In a small lake town in Southern Kentucky actually in a town called Monticello if im not mistaken.
Hi there..
I live in UK and i am currently caring for a Velvet spider and am wondering if it safe to put another velvet spider in with my friend?
It's actually kinda cute
So what I learned is that velvet spiders are actually the nicest or one of the nicest spider species
I wuvs hims...wanna give him hecc'n hugs n kisses.
i have 12 eyes. Checkmate spiders !
Where do you find the footage to use for these videos?
All the video credits are listed in the description
I'd dub it, the button butt spidey
“Average 0.5 inch” that is definitely bigger than half an inch lol.
Lady bird spiders can be found everywhere on the island of zanty in Greece.but here in the uk there rare.sad but true 👍🏻
The four star 🌟 🐉dragon -ball is found !!!😌😌😌
I swear I've seen these in my backyard. New Mexico lol
Can they be handled like jumping spiders or are they not as fragile?
Looks vicious
I want one!!!
They're pretty
I've seen red-velvet jumping spiders everywhere... as if they're mimicking velvet ants. Some I've seen even share the same markings. The velvet ant/cowkiller is like the battle tank of the insect world. So appearing as a velvet ant tells predators "NOPE".
Fun fact: "Cowkiller" is not a misnomer or hyperbolic. If a grazing cow accidentally swallows one, a sting in the tongue or esophagus can swell up and literally suffocate them.
I am talking about actual jumping spiders in the states that resemble velvet ants. These may be completely different species, but the markings probably serve the same purpose.
oh very fancy :0
I'd if it was the softest arachnid that came equip with a gucci bandana, id still avoid touching it
Can you make episodes with snapping turtle

Thanks for watching! 😊
Cute
I've found them in Northern California
SPIDER SPIDER MAN
Fact: velvet spiders are cute
I want one of the ladybird spiders and I’d call him button
Never seen a velvet spider, we do have several species of Jumping Spiders which I enjoy watching, they are the Raptors of the Spider world, actively going after their prey. We do have Velvet Wasp which is to be avoided at all cost (I know from the hard way).
Not sure why u call them a wasp (or maybe something im not familiar with, or google for that matter) but in mississippi we call them cow killers or just velvet ants. Ive watched coyote peterson get stung before. Those things look like a demon anyways. I hate them.
I wanna hold one now😍
Think I've seen a few here, in Arizona.
I would have definitely thought it was a jumping spider based on its body shape.
Still nothing on yellow flies
Instant sub and added to my niece's learning playlist.
Thanks so much! Hope you both learn lots here!
