Prasar Bharati Central Archives series of Akashvani Sangeet - Pandit D.V. Paluskar, Hindustani Classical Vocal Born in 1921.
D V Paluskar gave his debut performance at the Harballabh Sangeet Sammelan in Jalandhar, Punjab at the age of fourteen. He inherited the styles of the Gwalior gharana and the Gandharva Mahavidyalaya.
A very quiet, modest and humble person, wholly immersed in his music, D V Paluskar had a clear and melodious voice and a unique, effortless enchanting style. He is also famous for an unforgettable duet with Ustad Amir Khan in the film Baiju Bawra.

Devine! Pure magic! Despite the vastly superior audio technology we rarely get to listen such authentic, withou gimmicry and truly heart warming music now! There are exceptions, but I wish we get more such diamonds. May be the commercial distractions now are too many mow!
