This video belies the belief that lions always fight over morsels. The other lioness patiently watched till her sister left her a share. Everything happened so politely and kindly; the two sisters are very affectionate towards each other.
This is a rare exception not the rule. There is almost always competition between lions for food resources. So that belief still hold true.
It depends on the situation. They fight when there's a drought/ herds have migrated and they are starving. They don't when there's plenty of food to go around.
I doubt those lionesses were very hungry. That piglet would have been consumed much faster, and maybe fought over if there was hunger involved.
This is proof that eating slower and with family you get full quicker.

Hi Rob thanks for sharing 👍👍. This video is heartbreaking, but it shows wildlife as it is. The bad luck for this little pig is that pigs have the tastiest meat on the planet and no one can resist a piece of bacon.
It's not heartbreaking, warthog especially babies, are annoying and useless animals like gazelle and impalas are.

There's one clip of 2 lions playing tug o war with a baby warthog and decided to go halfsies when it snapped in half. But most viscous footage on YT is 4 large hunting dogs having 4 way tug o war with a live skunk and each got a quarter piece. It happened so fast, skunk didn't even have the chance to spray.

Cruelty is the norm in nature. But this is not the norm for people. We live by different laws. And people who enjoy watching the cruelty of animals get closer to animals themselves.
