I thought it was Daniel Richtmann who said Shadow wasn’t cast yet? Either way, at this very late stage it is very likely a lie to keep things a secret, Hollywood insiders literally do it all the time for reasons relating to their employment. Obviously that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s Hayden Christensen playing him.
And yes, I don’t know why some people still think it’s Shadow laughing in the teaser, when it’s clearly been matched and paired in some videos with the recording of Robotnik laughing in Sonic’s house in Sonic 2 😄
