It's incredible to observe Bitcoin’s decentralized and counterfeit-resistant brilliance compared to fiat’s centralized and counterfeit-prone system.

Sometimes black pill is needed to really appreciate and balance the equilibrium of the white pill. Otherwise the white pill is in danger of losing grip with reality, becoming delusional, a closed garden. Yin and yang.

Money laundry is a crime because it is money were no taxes were payed on. They want the tax money and since they won't get that they fine you for it
Under US law, money laundering is illegal because it's proceeds of a specified unlawful activity.
Laundering money is the process of turning dark money into normal money by allowing it to be taxed
I think you are referring to tax evasion. Money is laundered to hide where it originated, which it is almost always gained through illegal means like drug sales. In that case, they don't want to tax it. They want to seize ALL of it.
If you are caught hiding money that you gained legally, but don't want to pay taxes on, that's tax evasion. And yes, you will receive a hefty fine from the IRS and possibly jail time.

The Devil’s Chessboard is a terrific book. David Talbot has a number of interviews and talks on CZcams, for those interested. I’d also recommend The Brothers by Stephen Kinzer for a fuller picture of Alan (and John Foster) Dulles, an extremely complicated statesman.
Marty’s a smart chimp. The Deep State would be neither deep nor the state if it could be purged by a bloviated con man. Kudos to Pete for drawing out the sober analysis from the interview guest here. I’ll be checking out TFTC with more interest now.

Can I make a comment? Bedford, football team, Mayor, Growing my business, Bedford business community etc are now taking up a lot of your podcast run-time and mentioned repeatedly, and every episode. Please realise that most people are not here to hear about these despite them all being real issues and somehow connected to the overall theme of the channel. People are here from all over the world and they are here for a broader contextual discourse around Bitcoin more than the host's local socio-political context that they can hardly relate to.

I’m happy to keep hearing about your struggle to make Bedford a better place! Also it brings the theoretical aspects of these conversations into reality and shows the real world effects of Bitcoin vs fiat.
He's speaking about how he has integrated Bitcoin into every aspect of his life and business. Also, he discusses the challenges of making this transition and how he is overcoming those challenges and ultimately thriving and reaching new levels of success because he made the transition to Bitcoin and ditch the filthy fiat.
Hence, the name "What Bitcoin did", there's a lot to learn from it, and I question why you would make such an odd statement. 🤔 What is it you are tuning in to hear? Hype videos about price action? Chart analysis?
The type of videos he puts out are encouraging adoption, which, in turn, will make Bitcoin more valuable.

I would rather be able to focus on the conversations you have (which are generally great) and not have to look at political figures regardless of their party affiliation. You’re facilitating the financial transactions of a criminal enterprise. You’re driving the getaway car for a bank robbery. It’s indirect participation in a crime by aiding and abetting the criminal.
