With the wild horses into August

At the beginning of August the little rain that fell on our dried out landscape, made everything appear and feel like in the middle of autumn. We visited the beautiful wild horses not far from where we live. They were so playful and open, it was a joy to be near them. There are many seeds ready to be collected for the next garden year, I love to sort them out and put them into little labelled paper sachets. And lastly, the first grasshopper has found itself in one of the zinnias to take a rest. He picked the one that started to bloom at first this year. Good choice!

All kinds of perfect 😍 is there anything more joyful than the sight of horses dust bathing and nuzzling one another! The dusty faded colours of late summer always make me feel nostalgic in a way I can never quite put my finger on. There's just so much beauty and it all feels so precious and fleeting. Lots of love, I hope you enjoy lots more magical moments like this before the month draws to a close.
I also love the end of summer when the colors are slowly fading and this year with the drought it went really fast.
Oh, everything begins to rest - the colours, the light, the skies... everything moves towards autumn. I'm just watching a similar dusty sky, planning to go out and pick some elderberries.
We have a really intense summer once again, 36 degrees again today. As much I like to soak up all this vitamin D, I am secretly looking forward to the more introverted autumn days. Elderberries are ripe early this year! Here too! Sending lots of love!
@@wideeyedtree I'm so sorry you have to endure these heatwaves this year... We have around 32/33 degrees maximum here, but I can barely spend time in my apartment right under the roof. It's draining. But there are kinder days ahead... lots of love to you too, dear
