@@jacobminges790 idc if it's a cover of an 80's song. It's done in a 50's way by Drake and the Stray Cats. Did you see the album cover by the Stray Cats that had this song on it? It's a 50's style album cover. So altogether, it's 50 style. The Stray Cats did it 50's syle in the 80's. And Drake Bell did a cover of an 80's song that was done 50's style in the 2010's.
As Drake said himself, when he recorded Ready, Steady, Go! there was no autotune or computer enhancement used on the entire album; they didn't even record to a metronome. The album's very real.
Muy cierto, aunque es entendible, de lo comtrario morira de hambre, es bien sabido que a las masas se les mueve con musica basura como el regueton o el pop.
I have a hard time believing that. It may have been recorder live, but there is definitely autotune. Possibly added in the post-production. There is a livestream recording of Drake singing the same song and he doesn't sound nearly as perfect as this here
I, I got a low down dirty feeling That I've been cheated on and lied to If it's so then it's wrong, we've hung on for so long Why don't we have that magic anymore? I got a strange sneaking suspicion That it's been going on for some time now Something shines in your eyes Something stirs deep inside I won't stand in your way anymore You said that I'm just a little guy Who's easily led astray Well, aren't you the same little girl Who alway gets her way?
Brian Setzer executive produced the album and played on "Bitchcraft" and "I Won't Stand In Your Way". He didn't co-write Bitchcraft; that was co-written with Brett Boyett
I would have loved to hear Elvis do this song. When I hear it, all I can hear is a nonexistent Elvis version of it. Then again,, I think Almost any song on this album would be killer if Elvis did it. That's not to put down Drake Bell at all tho.. in fact I love that he did this album. Gives us a "new elvis" type of energy on this album. Love it
Stray Cats recorded this in the 80s. Drake Bell is modern musician. I think this album is from 2014 or so. Definitely a double layered blast from the past!
Thanks Drake Bell for bringing back the 50's.
*cough* 80s

Excellent song choice. You’re super fucking dope for this cover Mr. Bell! Newport x OC represent 🤙🔥🌴
This guy should have gotten alot more recognition for his music besides the drake and Josh theme song -_-
To be fair this a cover if it was original maybe he would
@@goldenbiscuit420most of Drake’s songs are original

Like si extrañas al drake de antes :'v extraño este genero
De tocar rockabilly y rock and roll paso a tocar el pop mas generico y rancio

Recorded live with no autotune or even a click track!! Pure talent

If Drake idolizes Elvis, then how come I haven't seen nor heard him do covers of his songs?
I've heard him sang Baby let's play house, Johnny B. Goode, Love me, That's all right. Maybe you should look it up.
