Not only accurate, but an excellent illustration that these drivers can only see directly forward. No wonder they can't keep out of each other's side panels.
Never would have thought that a racing seat could be a stand alone model. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Always seems simple when someone else is doing it. Great help, love the carbon fibre decal sheet 👍🏻
I've been wanting to attempt this type of seat for a while. Thanks for putting in the time and effort to add part numbers of the styrene used.
Very well done video Clay...... Thanks for sharing!!
You are a sculptor of models ! Love watching you work !! Thanks for the videos !
Awesome! Would of been cool to see you put the holes in the leg foams.
Awesome Clay ! Would love to see you build Moebius Chevy 2 Gasser
Very cool Racing seat. I don't build Nascar cars but I do like Other kind of race cars like DTM or Japanese Race cars and the concepts can be applied there. Just need reference pictures.
The seat is fantastic Clay. Ron
Superb job , looks far more like it should 👍🏼
awesome vid clay. i was surprised how much effect the matte black over the flocking had. i've stopped at the flocking stage and am never happy with how it looks. it's almost too black. will have to try the matte black over it to help catch some light
you nailed the look with the clear coat too
Great job clay!
Wonderful work Mr Kemp. A simple video showing how awesome is created, keep these videos coming 😊
Thank you buddy!
Friggen awesome 👌
Amazing looking seat bud👍👍🏆🏆
Amazing work !!
Truely awesome work.
I used 2mm foam sheets from Hobby Lobby to make my padding.
That’s amazing work.
WoW amazing work just needs the seatbelt harness set up
Pretty darn cool!
Outstanding, as always bro! Awesome seat! VERY well done! Thanks for sharing! Btw, also love the logo bottle holder! (micro sol/set) Cool! Do you sell those? lol
Of future reference for certain. Well done.
PHENOMENAL Scratch Building Sir.
P.S. a Suggestion?? A lighter Background Would've Allowed The Details to Be Seen Better 🤔🤔, God Bless All.
You are amazing my friend...
Nice, also a vinyl carbon fiber would work
Wow- this seat after painted went 1:1 🤩🤩🤩BTW: what are using for Foam & where do you get it...? Thanks Clay Great stuff as always!!!👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Great looking seat where did you get the carbon fiber decals thanks for sharing
I had bought them from a hobby shop I visited in Atlanta a few years ago. Just search for KA Models and you should be able to find them. Or you can never go wrong with Scale Motorsport decals.
Love your videos!!! Where did you get your photo-etched body mounts?
Those are made by Dirt Modeler. They are 1/24 scale body mount pads for drag cars. dirtmodeler.store/
Thanks Clay!
@@ClayKemp - Should have known after seeing your sprint car build....lol
Wow you are so skillful. How long have you been building?
40 years....I'm old. ;)
What lacquer paint did you use on the seat? And what airbrush is that?
It is just a basic black lacquer. I think I got a quart of it off of ebay a long time ago. But any black lacquer will work. Tamiya, or Gunze, or HoK. The airbrush is from ebay too. It's a dual action Master. Was like $35 I think. Works pretty well.
If I tried doing most of this without tweezers I'd have the seat glued to my arm in about 18 secs....
I don't want to make mine anymore 😂
