Thanks for the video, Return! Appreciate the testing and detailed explanation.

Ty for the video. It’s (important) news to me that attack speed essences don’t stack with 4 vithus!
As for testing total attack speed, others have done so by importing audio recordings of primary attacking into some audio software that measures bpm.

*Primary* Attack Speed essences do stack with Vithus,, though.

Yeah, that is the best way to do it, but I don't have the technical skills to do that.
As for primary attack speed. I assume primary attack speed don't just stack additively on to your IAS, otherwise we'd reach the 100% cap pretty easily. I am wondering if primary attack speed increase has the same interaction as the crit chance bonus, where it's applied only to the remaining room from max. That sounds convoluted, here's an example:
Let's say we get +50% IAS, and +60% primary attack speed increase.
      Scenario 1: 0.5 + 0.6 = 110% which is over the hard cap, so it's just +100%
      Scenario 2: Total increased attack speed = 0.5 + ((1-.05)*0.6) = 80%
If someone knows how to use the right tools, they should be able to test this out.

@@Shentao83^This. I play wizard a lot and both essence most definitely stack with Vithus buff.

Wait, doesnt a wb room remnant also increase attack speed? Attacker, curb of bit haste, 1%, white, so you can (if you're lucky) stack 3 for a total of 3%.

I'm fairly certain WB room bonuses *should* be included in the passive IAS bucket.

Hmm.. so would 4 piece Vithu's stack with the primary speed bonus from 4 piece Shalbaas?

They should stack in some way, but I am not sure if they stack additively, or with other formula.

It wont show in the stats that shalbas and vithu stacks but ive read somewhere that they do.

Sooo vithus 4p doesn't stack with any atk speed essences ?😢 like 35% from ardent fervor barb lacerate essence?😢

    • @EndGamingOfficial
      @EndGamingOfficial  Před 5 měsíci

Hmm I think Arden fervor, like that Frenzy essence, only affects the atk spd of Lacerate itself. I don't know how those primary attack speed increases interact with IAS :( I am fairly sure they do increase your primary atk spd but by how much, I don't know.

Thanks for the video. Do you know if primary attack speed stack? For example, Shal’bass 4 pc and frenzy essence.

Hey, there's a combo I found a while back that's more for fun than actually super viable (it is in some game modes though)....
It's for movement not attack, but I love your videos and the style and precision of the information in them so I thought you may find this fun.
    Routefinder shoulders
    Juggernaut legs
    Basic Wrath
    4pc Vithus
Hit Wrath then Sprint and it's the fastest mobility in the game. I also use the Sprint duration helm so it goes longer.
Combined with Leap since it's animation is affected by the Wrath and Vithus speed, it's an indirect way to move MUCH faster also.
I actually can't record it because it lags when I try to see how fast I can get from training dummies to blacksmith, but its something like 7 seconds to travel that.
If I didn't lag or get snagged on anything it would be like 5 seconds lol.
Just Sprint alone it's closer to 12 seconds. That's a pretty big difference.
Sorry for the off topic-ness :)

This video shows that the attack speed from basic wrath and 4 vithus don’t stack. I’ve tested movement speed in my own latest video, and movement speed buffs don’t stack either.
All you need to cap movement speed on a barb is a capped 20% passive + sprint, to hit the 70% hard cap. Get 10% passive from bsj, and try to get the other 10% passive from magic attributes on set items (*not* set bonuses). Other than that, increase your size (easy +23% from a protector wb room buff with shepherds burden + warden paragon), since size acts as a separate multiplier for movement speed.
I believe juggernaut’s is a fixed speed not influenced by movement speed, although it wouldn’t surprise me if it were influenced by size. (I haven’t tested this.) And routefinder grants a movement speed buff to your Allie’s, but does nothing to increase your own speed. If your Allie’s are built well for content focused on speed (eg loop farming), they should all have a movement speed buff at least as strong as routefinder, with the exception of dh’s relying on shadow sight (20%). And shadow sight is party wide, so you’d really only be slightly increasing the movement speed of a dh relying on shadow sight, or anyone not properly built for speed where it’s important.
It is true that attack speed speeds up animations, so the strong attack speed buff of base wrath will make you leap faster. But again, that won’t stack with 4 vithus.
