- No Rest for the Wicked full crucible run! First time completing the crucible and I loved it. The whole progression of learning all the mobs + getting upgrades when I died. What I like the most about learning bosses in soulslike games is that it's like a puzzle to solve. Echo knight has quite a few abilities and he can easily catch you off guard and end your run. This was done before the patch which brought some adjustments to the crucible.

Hello, everyone! Just a few tips on how to survive in here:
-stack hp % increase gear and healing effect. Use hp gem in armour and helm
-mske sure you have good rings and they aren't just 3x feather rings
-don't neglect upgrading gear
-keep lots of white gear for your weight limit to try to hit a good enchant. I went through a lot of different gear!
-bait enemies to safe areas like at 4:14 and 13:38
-do what you can do make fights easier like at 11:55 the giant kills the mobs for me
-separate mobs if possible 15:00
-dont play risky and try to get those last hits off on giants etc. greed is heavily punished
-Try to backstab if you can when possible on knights

The combat mechanics and sound design feel so satisfying.

Wow.. The loot reward chests at the end feels very satisfying.. I haven’t played the game, I will wait and see if they fix some of the inventory problems and such. But the game looks extremely fun and polished. I am looking forward to play this soon ✊
Hello. Really good fight. It’s clear that you went through a lot of attempts before you hit him. In such battles, the main thing is to keep cool and not rush. I myself had to spend 50 attempts to defeat him, using a bow and scimitar. But when I put together a build using multi-shot and focus regen, it became easier to kill him. Although in truth, even now, because of greed, I can die on it. Good job.!!!👍
The combat kinda reminds me of the og god of war games. Very nice graphics too
Did I get different locations when I enter cerim crucible. Last week I got different location and this week it's completely different location
what an amazing game...do you know if the EA special price will be avaiable even if when the multiplayer will be added?
The price reduction is until 2nd May I believe. Not sure when multiplayer is coming, but probably not before then.
Dang this looks like fun, is it fun? Or crazy tough, also that boss is horrid! I love it
It's tough if you want to clear it at lower level with bad gear. Once you get your gear, you have enough hp to tank hits, have sirloin steaks to buff your hp for the boss it's fine. Some builds like magic absolutely roll over crucible. Fireball at 45 int 1-shots mobs, 2-shots giants and kills the boss in less than half the time you see here.
It's really fun and you get tonssss of loot.

unironically this is game of the year for me, i wanna say stalker 2 could top this but im not gonna be blinded ny nostalgia, most fun i had since my first ds1 playthrough

I love how that one specific cerim knight always has his sword grow 10 times the size when killed lol. Quick question, have you found silver yet? If so, where? I've been going through cerim crucibles for a while now but usually die on the one where the big guy can knock you off the cliff. I think I need a better upgrade to just kill them faster. I've been using grenades to lure/kill dangerous groupings but it's a struggle
Once you get to level 21, you can start getting silver from random drops/chests. There's actually one silver ore node in the Nameless Pass Quarry, far to the right. You need to climb some vines and move one of the platforms to the top right to jump to more vines.
Honestly falling must be my #1 cause of death, haha. I just died to running off a bridge by mistake, instead of walking off it.
@@Snapziey Once you raise the forge to level 3 you can buy silver ingots directly from the blacksmith.
@@ITD4rKn3Ss Nice! I haven't even done the spruce upgrades. Might come in handy for the silver, though!
Theres another silver ore you can mine, in the area before the twin bosses, but after youve beat them and madrigal is re-building everything

Yeah honestly, when I first went in and had no experience, didn't know enemies moveset, was low level, bad gear, I got killed in the first room a lot. I just didn't expect every monster to two-shot kill and there to be 3 mobs on you a lot of the time.
It does help to get to pull some groups separately with grenades. But yeah, it only gets easier as you do it more!

@@jambo5936 the mobs are really high level so it's pretty good XP if you can do some floors in there.
I recommend doing chest runs for loot/embers and killing the mobs on the way. You can get every chest in the game in less than 20 mins. While the chests are respawning you go inside the crucible!
I put up a video about farming chests aswell.
The dungeon gets MUCH easier after you reach level 21 and you are able to equip the items you find in it
But the boss is really hard

Yeah it is unfortunately. Looking forward to multiplayer as the next update, though!
Is there a limit to the crucible? i died in two and now can't go back in. Do you have to farm the item to get back in? where to get if you do?
You need a "Fallen Ember" to activate and enter the crucible. You can farm them from chests.
I've got a chest farm route on my channel. Takes less than 20 mins to get 90% of the chests in the game and that should get you some embers!
i'm stuck at cerim crucible boss fight after nearly one hundred tries. it's so annoying to have to run all the dungeons again and again before meeting echo knight boss fight. it would be great if they add the capability to not having to run dungeons multiple times in order to get to the crucible boss. a better approach is to run the dungeons once and once reach boss arena, everytime players die, they use ember to get to boss arena directly and continue from there.
I cant enter cruicible, i have entered 3 times and just cant enter again. Flames wont burn or i cant activate blood altar thing. Any tips?
maybe you spent all your ember. go farm some and try again
So i just got to the cerim crucible as level 15 and im getting my ass whooped. (Did all the game with a "4 damage" basic stat dual dagger, yes pretty unlucky) but i was wondering how to farm ember
You weren't unlucky! You just needed to buy loads of the dual daggers and enchant them for a good enchant! Also you didn't upgrade them once haha. You can upgrade weapons at the blacksmith.
You can get embers from chests. I have a video on a chest farming route on my channel for both zones if you're interested!
Holy shit, that stutter at 19:04. I've given up on the Crucible for now because it stutters and crashes every time.
This game genuinely has the worst performance I've ever had in a game. Since it's early access, it gets a pass for now. The game is really fun, but yeah, gotta be worked on still. I'll have minute long loading screens, have to wait minutes for the zone to load and even after it does, I stutter like crazy. Crucible is actually the BEST performing zone for me. I have a pretty decent PC aswell.

i dont understand, i get 2 stikes from yje knights and I'm dead, my sword does 32 damage and I need to hit them a bunch of times... you cut thru them like butter... what am I doing wrong, or its a balance glitch...
You really need to get their moves down. If you notice, I don't get hit much. I pretty much die in two hits to any knight still. One grab from the giant and it kills me. If I'm at like 60% hp I need to heal haha. I have pretty good gear aswell. It will only get easier with levels, gear and experience!
As to what to get on gear, I have a weapon with 25% extra damage as elemental and I'm stacking health/healing effect on armour. Make sure to upgrade everything as high as possible, too. My weapon could've actually been upgraded about 4 more times easily here.
For my stats I put none in focus and not much in stam and am stacking damage + hp.

You have to finish all of the early access to get it.
Echo Knight feels so bad if you use a heavy 2h build like me. Almost no openings to do damage to him without risking to get hiit back and lose half your life.
Yeah I have a strength based character and it does no damage and leaves you open so much lmao. I feel like 2H need a buff. There's not enough payoff. Also, I've found a few of the strength based weapons don't even have power attacks, implying they're not quite finished.
@@Snapzieywell crap there goes my strength build however I’m seeing a lot of openings plus no doubt you’ll be able to stagger boss for extra tho you do play extremely defensive, and I haven’t faced the boss I can’t give complete advise
What level were you
I'm not sure what level this character was. I've killed the boss on varying level characters, from a level 20 character with 30 vitality and no other stats to a max level character! this one might have been like level 25?
can i know why your weapon are shiny?
That just means I have "extra damage as cold" as one of the enchanted stats
where do i find a fallen ember?

update: After the patch I seem to be getting them from small chests too, now. Not sure if they're just really rare from small chests. So yeah, any chest works, but big chests can give 3-4 if you're lucky

What is this game about? It's like diablo mixed with rougelike?
i'd say valheim/enshrouded/v rising, with the diablo isometric view. It felt like dark souls experience until i leveled up my gear and character stats.

What element is the most usefull to put on a weapon? Ice, fire, lightning...?
From my experience, they're mostly the same. I'm sure some enemies might have some resistance against certain elements, but apart from that they all do the same damage. Plagued (purple) weapons with about 25% elemental damage seem to do the same amount of damage as oils.
If you use fast weapons like dagger or double dagger I recommend Ice but for slower ones I think Fire is good
@@pix00l With weapon oils/weapon elemental damage, I don't think I've ever had it activate before a monster dies, or have it activate on the boss. With weapon runes and spells I've had elemental effects activate, so that's why I said it doesn't really matter. If we did activate the effects I think you're right in that ice is the best.
@@Snapziey on second thought Lightning might actually be a lot better on dagger because of the stagger effect
@@pix00l freeze from cold is kind of just a better lightning stagger, though?
What is crucible?
It's going to be the endgame content of the game. 10 floors of enemies and then a boss at the end with unique loot!

This shit is fucking hard man how am i suppose to do this, i happen to hate Roguelike style of gameplay too!!! im so unlucky! - why moon studios incorporated the roguelike system on their game! my goshhh
I do think that the crucible will be optional in the full game. It's meant to be the first look at endgame content where you push your character and really need to learn the monsters etc. hopefully, if others feel the same way, people will not need to force themselves to do it! Good luck, though.
@@Snapziey I really hope so because its not something that i am genuinely enjoying, not because of the difficulty of the mobs, i can learn their patterns, im a hardcore souls-like player so im used to that, but the whole idea of incorporating the rougelike system is absurd and ridiculous to me, i do not want to start from floor 1 all the time and funny enough i managed to make it to the final Boss and i think he is too strong, very fast and deals way too much damage. The twice that i managed to get to the boss i didnt even manage to land 1 single hit on him thats how broken he is, and im lvl 27 with over 110+ DPS with Plague DMG - Pure STR build with a 2 Hander. This is crazy.
The difficulty is fine but weapon degradation is way too much, if they really need to have it, just be it Lies of P type..!
@@starrims Not sure if you played yesterday, but they released an update that slowed the need to repair by a LOT! It might be like 10 time slower to break your gear now. Repairing is also cheaper, on top of this.
U need a better weapon bro ^^
