d miz i’d say like 90% of the people who come on the show have an emotional background or their performance is emotional. doing what you love and having that weight of emotions on your back is really difficult. plus, those who didn’t get put through just didn’t do enough. it had nothing to do w/ emotions.

I recently saw Ryan perform in Atlanta with Samuel J. Comroe. He is genuinely a great comedian. None of the stuff he did in this set was in his live set. So much great material. His backstory hit me in the gut as well. If a comedian is finally going to win AGT, he certainly deserves the title.

Love how he seems to not want to make people feel bad for his story like a lot of contestants do. We didn’t even know about those issues other than his disability during his first appearance. I hope he wins it all
yeah, he really doesn't try to get pity at all. It's physically obvious to see he has a disability unlike other disabilities like autism for instance, so he kinda has to explain, but if his disability wasn't physically obvious to see, I wonder if he would've mentioned anything about it at all. ya know, since he definitely isn't looking for sympathy at all. I voted for him as one of my favorite acts. every performance of his was wonderful consistently each time and he seems very kind with a good personality and heart.

I thought he was "pretty good" by the halfway point and so I was worried he wouldn't quite make the cut, but by the end I was cheering and applauding. He deserves this. He commands the stage and has great delivery.
He has a lot of potential to be great. Having to deal with hardships on the daily is just more material for his act. Good thing he has a positive attitude and is able to poke fun of his situation. Best of luck to him.
