I had watched an interview of lyricist Sameer (son of lyricist Anjaan who has written this song), he was remembering Amitabh saying "Kishoreda ne yeh gaana itni achchi tarah se gaya hai ki shooting time pe mujhe expressions dene me bahut mushkil hui thi.."

Its a very rare occurrence a song a or a movie scores 10 out of 10. Amitabh delivers his best and Kishore Kumar a maverick of what he can do. RD, but the usual unsung is Aruna Irani . What a powerhouse of talent. If I have to rate the best ever female actress for everything. looks, figure, acting and even her humility. its ARUNA IRANI. No bimbo ever can get closer to her acting prowess.

How did Kishoreda prepare himself for this song is the first thing at pops into my mind when I’m halfway through the song, he’s offering so many nuances in this whole song that it’s a work of genius!!!
And.... the genius of Panchamda which is outstanding in the way the composition weaves slapstick, melody, dialogue and what not in this song that it becomes a Genre by itself !!!

I also saw Sameer ( the lyricist) interview - he describes something funny but it highlights the genius of Kishore Kumar. While rehearsing the song Kishore suddenly jumped up & said - add this line during the song - Karele ki ho Gayi sagayi sakarkand nachne ko chali aayi- Sameer said dada it will not be accepted by audience but I remember when this line is sung in the movie ( this is an edited version of this song) the audience starts clapping and whistling..Kishore da was a POWERHOUSE & GENIUS..he was not only a Singer but he wrote a few songs plus producer & director..not to mention a great actor too..
