LIGHT FLOAT FISHING | BLACK BREAM | CATCH & COOK

- In this video I do some light float fishing, targeting anything from mullet, garfish and black bream. This was a frustrating session to say the least, so when I hooked into a nice size black bream, I decided to keep it and cook it the following day.
I pan fried the fish whole with some ground spices which really enhance the flavour of this beautiful meaty fish. Check out the video to see how the session and cook went. Thanks for watching and see you on the next one 🎣

Cheers Jack 👍🏼 I'd go spices for the bream, tahini works well with the mackerel and is also great with salmon.

Yeah it was good to meet you too Karl. You have some good bass spots over there but I think we just weren’t hitting them at the right times. It was a good little trip over there though. Fair play on the squid mate. Dan who you may have also met that night ended up coming joint first in the comp with a 61cm caught 100 yards down from where we met you that night. 👍🏼

Hello I've done a good bit of mullet fishing , best hook I've come across is the Owner in size 8 , amazing points on them , and strength, keep the vids coming lad

Good upload , definitely with bream I use size 14 doubles for bread fishing for All bream types,they like abit of chop on the water too,also all my big ones have came on brown bread not sure if it matters ?but I’ve noticed it ,If your in area where there’s no mullet sweetcorn is great bait for All sea bream types,mullet can’t past out sweetcorn but ,sea bream can. Hope this helps with the light float fishing for bream. Tightlines mate 😎🐟

Bream are one of my favourite fish, especially when cooked whole. I don’t season my fish except for salt and pepper that way I taste the natural fish. Much sweeter when cooked on the bone.
Yeah I love all bream species too, it's a very tasty fish!

I have also wondered this while watching the catch and cook mackerel video a little while ago. The presentation and knowledge of flavours and spices had me thinking this guys a pro! Top work Cal, you make it look easy! Keep the content coming! Love it ❤
Those mullet are tricky. I tried for them recently, possibly the same mark but at low tide. Mullet everywhere, breaking the surface around my float. A couple of takes but no hook ups. Will keep trying!
Yeah mate they’re a right pain sometimes. I prefer the aspect of spinning for thin lips over float fishing for thick lips butI'm determined to get one soon.
Next time go for size 8 chinu hook. You dont thing that over marinating the fush you loosing the natural taste of it ?
I use chinu hooks for a lot of my fishing so maybe I'll give them a go for mullet. No, not at all. those spices definitely don't over power the flavour of the fish.

Hahaha I was waiting for a comment about the pan! You're completely right though, every time I'm in a shop that sells pans I always forget to buy one!
