I relate polo green scent with my grandpa. He loves polo green and suits him very well. Its a very mature scent, love it! It is a bright citrus grassy masculine cologne.

Another wonderful review Ash. Regardless how they turn out, I'm just glad RL started doing OG Polo (and now Polo Sport) flankers again. Realistically, you can't expect vintage smells to sell all that well these days, but at least it's a bit of a throwback. My heart will be broken if Polo Sport Fresh has any resemblance to Invictus though. Then it'll be time to break something.
Original Polo was the first cologne I bought myself in high school way back in 1985 or 6... I loved it
Blind bought the 8 oz bottle from Macy's on sale for $60. It is a great fragrance, I was definitely satisfied, smells close to original but tweaked enough to be it's own fragrance
I smelled this not to long and I actually liked it. It’s nothing new or groundbreaking but I enjoyed it and would wear it in the fall
Regardless of what they say, I call it an EDC entirely by the way it wears. It’s a bright flash of freshness and dies down pretty fast. There’s an hour of solid performance, then 6 of skin scent.
Gonna have to try it. Still have my Polo Green. It'll be interesting to actually smell the differences!!
I looked up the original just out of curiosity and its crazy how expensive it still is. What a classic it is.
I'm definitely going to check out this new one.

@@giladbauman6927 I checked out the new one in the store not long ago and it does seem to be a more updated version of the classic. It still smells like you'd expect but a more lighter, easier to wear version.

Polo EDT (Green) is legit my all time favorite cologne and I’m only 21. It really is just a beautiful fragrance! I can’t wait to try Polo Cologne soon!

Hey, noticed you gave this a super high score. Would you mind going into detail? As in, what you specifically like about this scent? And what exactly does the scent remind you of? Like what other scents does it have similarities to? I haven’t tried this scent so I’m quite curious.
the cosmair version of polo is the best classic scent. great piney opening and a warm dry down. the new formulation has a funky dry down and ruins the scent.
Decent everyday fragrance, and mine came with a pretty sweet polo backpack that I immediately put on and stomped around the mall with.

I love Polo Green But Polo Blue is my go to. atm. 112.00 bucks four years into it. One spray lightly .Another one similar is Catisland.
Would love to check this one out, as I actually like the OG Polo. Stirling Soap Co created an inspired by scent called Stirling Green, which was actually really nice. That too was a more modern take on Polo. I got the shave soap, AS, and EDT. All great!

Just ordered myself a bottle. The way I see it, it'll keep me occupied through the warmer months until it's cold enough to wear the classic Polo.
Same here, haven’t worn this in warm weather as I just picked it up, but I’m excited for spring and summer. It’s somewhere between the original, and a blue fragrance (though not polo blue, I can’t stand that stuff). It has that earthy herbal background that the OG has, without the pine and tobacco that really reek when it’s over 75 degrees

RL has always been an awkward house. My dad bought me RL’s Blue for about 70% of my teen years to wear 🤣 I might try this scent at the store to see if it suits me. I just don’t trust Polo any more, sadly 🤔

I purchased a bottle of R.L Green in Harrods - London in 1989 as an eighteen year old and remember it being absolutely bonkers strong.
I've never purchased it since as i don't want to spoil the memory i have of that pre reformulated version so i might give this ago if its a bit different.

it was in 1988 the stun, polo green was that extraordinary smell. now they change it so much and it age badly. thats a shame. maybe the smell was the vibe of the late 80 but in my opinion it should stay there.
I like the scent but the performance and longevity is very weak on my skin.

Might not be a cologne concentration but it sure performs like one. I got maybe two hours out of it, but it was a weak skin scent within half an hour so it may as well have been gone by then.
Imo the "cologne" in the name is a mistake as way too many people will confuse it with "eau de cologne" as you said. They should have called it Polo intense, kept the classic green/gold colourway and just made it a stronger version of polo.

I just tried it today at the local pharmacy, I had high hopes for it but it smells old. This stuff will definitely make your hair turn grey.

I may be in the small minority here and forgive me if I am but I really don't like this stuff.... I don't like the sour tinge it's got in it, not sure if it's coming from the basil but to my nose it's not real pleasant. It's got that old school barber shop vibe to it which for the most part I can appreciate but this fragrance really smells like something an old man would wear. Not for me....
If any DNA like original Polo Green I'd NOT even want my dead body smelling of it. Green was 1 of my 1st colognes (Back in 1990). I was 21 yrs old. Pretty much can't stand Any Polo anything (used to buy/wear 80$shirts, cuz clubbing & having yo keep up appearances) since 1998 that whole area of my life timed out.

It’s horrible! Absolutely horrible. It got people around me to leave the room and some even stuck their head out of the window. Please please please do not buy this fragrance if you’re under the age of 145.
