At least this had the spirit of the Jezza/May/Hammond Top Gear. It's actually better for 90% of the time compared to the new Top Gear.

I like these guys. They're like the actually fun-to-know and reasonably nice boys you knew back in college, who were good for bar-hopping and long road trips without worrying you too much. Love the moonshine history theme.

@Ken Norcott I agree. As someone who grew up watching the OG Trio, they will forever hold my heart, but U.S Top Gear, where I'm also from, is a unique show of it's own. It felt real in it's own way, where as ever since the departure of the Trio, I could never like Top Gear, no matter how hard I tried. But these guys, it warms my heart, jus not as much as Clarkson, May and Hammond did.

Yep saw that too lol but I've actually had to do that in my uncle's 72 f100 we filtered it through a tee shirt to keep large chunks out strangely it worked till the engine seized a year later (was a 302 now has a 351)
First few seasons were rough, but I feel like this trio eventually found their own identity and I found this version quite enjoyable. Dunno why everyone wants Clarkson Hammond and may. The way I saw it, just meant I had twice as many car shows to watch.
Top gear is all ways piss about and review cars the UK has its way and us has own identity

I was kinda thinking the same thing, I mean he looks so much more younger than Ruat, and Adam. I take a guess of 21-22 for Tanner, Adam maybe around late 20’s early 30’s, and Rutledge my best guess is 32 year old.
But it’s anyone’s best guess.

Quinn Florence Adam is like 48 , Rut is like 39 and Tanner is 43 I think ? I know that’s close to there age
I absolutely love the low budget car challenges where all 3 of them each get their own budget car... but clicking on it only to find out that it's not the legendary trio of blokes - that's unforgivable, Top Gear.
Why so much hate? This is still better than the new UK Top Gear haha. Nothing will EVER top the UK Top Gear but the U.S version isn't the worst by any means.

I find it a bit cheesier, but I personally don't mind the US version. Uk is better, but that's because there is more of them and more to choose from.
Im sure the higher budget for the UK version helps them out a bit.

Main reason I like the usa version is because of the us cars and trucks featured, that the uk version doesn't have. For example, I love the land yachts and pickup trucks, and the real semi trucks.

I can't lie. First time I've ever tasted shine I reacted the same as Ruttledge without the vomiting. That brought back funny memories. It didn't take long for everything to start spinning.
Richard, James and Jeremy will forever be the best presenters of any car show especially top gear
As an avid Top Gear (UK) fan, I dont mind TG USA. It isn't great but it's not terrible either. Just wish it was less scripted and the cast had better chemistry.

I get people have there own opinions but, I don't like how they say that this is bad. I get that Top Gear USA isn't as safisticated as UK but, I still love both. And, if people don't like it, then don't watch it.

You cut the steering wheel to the desired direction, and pulling the handbrake at the same time. Then adjust steering to straighten out and finish the 180 degrees. I did a perfect one one the road some years ago in my fr wheel drive accord, a wet road def helps

This show wasn't bad at all, these 3 have the spirit of Jezza, Capt. Slow and Hamster and at least they're not trying to copy them or replace them like Chris Evan did.
To be honest it would be better if this show wasn't named Top Gear because then people wouldn't be comparing to the original. This show is an underrated gem that deserves more love. I think the OG Top Gear and Top Gear USA are equal, they're both good, interesting and makes me have a good chuckle.

Finally, someone else who gets me. I can kinda understand why some people don’t like this. They’re not exactly precise as UK like in the Hollywood Car Challenge, they got completely different model of car. But, regardless of that or what people say, I will always love both Top Gear USA and Top Gear UK equally.
