- Five years in the making, Twice Above the Atlantic is a coming-of-age documentary celebrating the spirit of youth, challenges of travel, and pursuit of the great American road trip. This is the soundtrack, written in collaboration with long-time friend Aiden Appleton, featuring eight artists from across the US, UK, and Canada. The film is scheduled to come out later this year.

Inspired by the music I was listening to in 2016, each song is written to remind me of places I’ve been to, people I’ve been with, and experiences I’ve had. I wanted each to give me the feeling of being back there in some small way, as my year in America is a story (and time in my life) that is very special to me, and there are times when I miss it beyond belief. Hopefully this is embodied in the music you are listening to and if so, I hope you enjoy my year in America.

I will say that I'm normally a lurker and I don't really comment or post things often at all. I have been listening to this album yesterday and today though, and I am in love. I have never had an album before where I liked every single song, but I do with this album. The feeling that it gives me is honestly hard to describe. I think it also helps that it came to me at the right time - I've been going through a lot of changes lately, including losses and distancing of some loved ones and friends. This album has inspired me to approach things with renewed energy (and acceptance for some of the things I can't change). I've loved so much of your work for quite a while now, but this is totally outstanding.
