    Is this actually all sequences on the PO-33 ?? I didn't think these things could have more than one pattern.

    • @laksei88
      @laksei88  Před 2 měsíci +1

      Hi. Yes, you have 16 patterns with your sketches and you can program them in different sequences. Up to 128 such sequences can be made

      @@laksei88 I've heard these things get a lot of hate. I can kind of understand bc they're so cheap and accessible for beginners..
      But for me it seems these things are capable of incredible stuff and you need to really be experienced to get what you can out of it.
      Anyone can open up a DAW and do some pretty decent stuff but to make good music on something like this is takes some real old school elbow grease. That's why I love the idea of these things.

      @@fiftyshadesofurban I like PO33 because it's very simple, and its limitations make you think differently. You have only 40 seconds to make a beat and you must clearly understand which piece of music you need to record. I did a lot of beats on it and I have some videos of the process and my song at the end of the video

    • @laksei88
      @laksei88  Před 9 měsíci +2

      @@legendsflashback On PO33, it is impossible to spread the tools to the right or to the left. This is possible only by recording all the instruments separately and reassembling them on the computer. But this will already be a complex process, for which other akai mpc devices are more suitable. I play PO33 for fun.

    Needs compression to get speakers moving some air, my guy! Nice beat!

    • @jas_bataille
      @jas_bataille Před 7 měsíci

      ....??? Those are already super-compressed lo-fi sample. Compression reduces the amplitude of the signal. It then allow you to turn it up louder without making the signal peak. But it doesn't make the speakers move more air - matter of fact, it does the opposite. I get what you're saying but then you lost all the dynamics and punch of what you listen to... Just turn the volume up this ain't a club set xD

    • @SalimSivaad
      @SalimSivaad Před 7 měsíci +1

      @@jas_bataille You're wrong. When you use compression, you absolutely move more air. Have you ever seen a wave file post compression? By quashing the amplitude of the peaks and boosting the overall amplitude of the sample you get a thick, solid waveform representing a thicker concentration of air vibrations to produce that sound. This equates to more air moved.

    • @simonpitt4080
      @simonpitt4080 Před 6 měsíci +1

      sounds fine on my focal shape twins. maybe get some better speakers or just expect different dynamics from a lo-fi sound
