    I have the RS Moto 2 and it is AMAZING. This bike is almost TOO perfect! 😊 After my first test ride, I finished up the ride, walked into the dealership and said: it is impossible to ride this bike and not purchase it on the spot. And that is exactly what I did. No regrets. Not a single twinge if buyers remorse. This bike is the perfect example of something (someone) that does exactly what it is made to do. Perfectly. 👍❤️

    I've had mine for nearly a month now and its been the most fun bike I've owned so far. Everything about it feels premium. The brakes are amazing, the handling is brilliant, the tires are sticky and the cosmic yellow is absolutely stunning. My only con is the dash. It could be so much better.

      Yes! I still absolutely love the Street Triple. I've put in nearly 4k miles these last 5 months, mostly canyons. This bike is an absolute dream. The suspension, brakes and engine are just wonderful. I still don't love the dash. You just can't see some important info easily. The OEM tires were very sticky and confident inspiring, however, they were completely worn out by 3k miles. I didn't get a chance to do a track day this year, but looking forward to next summer!

    Hi Kate. Just here to say that, partially because of your enthusiasm, I’m swapping my MT09SP for a red RS. In all honesty I wanted a Triumph when I bought the SP and the reason was that the Yamaha had a comfier pillion seat for the missus. It ended up that she hasn’t come for a ride with me once since I’ve owned it! So, there’s nothing to hold me back now, especially since the Trumpet is nicer and better than ever.

    • @arnohag1

      Sold my 2020 XSR900 SP because the frame and suspension could not handle the power. Headshaking out of corners is disconcerting even with the suspension dialled in. The Rs is like chalk and cheese. On ya Triumph.

      @stephenspiteri_zunkus Před 7 měsíci +2

      @@patrickrosello9583 just seen this. Sorry for the late reply. The difference mostly is how they make their power. If they were cars, the Yamaha would be an American muscle car whilst the Triumph would be an exotic European sports car. What would you choose? Depends on what excites you most. At first I thought the Triumph was slow compared to the Yamaha, I’d be in sixth gear thinking that I’m in 3rd! I am not alone in saying this but also my friend who bought an RS like mine. It makes its power differently. However, when I went out with my quick buddies I instantly was breathing down their necks when usually I’m at the back of the group chasing as best I can. The Triumph is so much easier to ride quick. It’s also nicer in town. It’s finer. The Yamaha though is no lesser bike. It has a bigger engine and it feels like it. Very playful and sounds great. If I had the money and space I’d have kept them both. But if I’m honest, I prefer the Triumph.

    Absolutely brilliant, good fun! I've got my RS, and wouldn't trade it for anything. Fast and agile, with a forward leaning rider body position that is the perfect balance of being forward on the controls, whilst not putting any undue pressure on your hands and wrists. Here's my only negative. There is a body paint matched fly screen that sits above the headlights and slightly surrounds the TFT Display. This used to be standard equipment, now it's an optional extra.

    Sounds so nice, what a sweet tone it has, I would never change the exhaust. and it looks beautiful. love both the red and the yellow. it would be the perfect bike if it had some wind protection. I don't know why motorcycle manufactures don't realize that people are buying naked bikes for the comfortable ergonomics with close to sport bike performance. they are not buying them because they love the wind hammering them at anything over 60mph. What people really want are sport bikes without the back breaking ergonomics. not track bikes that you can only stand being on for a half an hour of riding. in my opinion the 765 would be so much better with at least an upper fairing. companies should take a lesson from the Ducati Supersport which is an amazing bike.

    I own one in the same color and i'm very happy with it BUT if I had to nitpick I would say 1) The dash is too difficult to read with the text and tach being too small. The previous gen RS models had a easier to read layout IMO. 2) It's not as comfortable as my previous Street Triple (2016) but I think it's mostly due to the taller seat and more aggressive riding triangle (more pressure on my arms). 3) Smaller plastic gas tank which means reduced range and I cant use my favorite magnetic tank bag. 4) Triumph removed the nub on the kickstand that made it easier to deploy, just why?

    Hah I have that same worry @1:45 of a biker or car coming enthusiastically round the corner.
    It's ok though as hopefully that keeps us safe and alive to ride another day right and have fun again where we can see all the way.

  • @yonniboy1
    @yonniboy1 Před 10 měsíci

    I love the 2023 RS, I've had mine since March (in cosmic yellow) it's my 3rd consecutive street triple 765 and Triumph have definitely raised the bar with this model, my only complaint is the TFT which IMO is really poor and like a fisher price toy, the more basic one on the R and also the Tiger 660 and Trident is better, basic but does everything required but the TFT is a minor blip when taken against the bike as a whole which is superb.

    I've got the striple r 675 2012 and I don't know if it's worth me going up to the 765 because the 675 is more than enough for me at the moment. I think if I did sell her I would go to the 1050 speed. Great video I love watching the channel ❤

    I demo'd an R and when looking at a 2nd hand one against new this was the biggest turn off. With only 3=6 months warranty and only 2 year on new ones. I enjoyed the ride, wasn't a fan of the kickstand (small thing) and have ended up buying a 2nd hand s1000rr albeit for more money but with 2 years bmw warranty I feel I made the right choice. Good video though, very good round up. Just a shame the it didn't set me alight. obvs the s1000rr does :)

    The new RS is a great bike, don't get me wrong, plenty of power, great handling. But the mirrors are blurred at motorway speeds (which is where you really need them to look for coppers) and after an hour on the bike my hands were buzzing due to the vibes. No reviewer has mentioned this, which I find odd.

    • @UsernameKate
      @UsernameKate  Před rokem +1

      I don't genuinely dont get vibes from this bike (the buzzing in my hands like they're on springs afterwards) and I have with other bikes before like the M1000R after a day's hard riding and my 690 duke. I'd mention it if I felt consciously affected by it but I just don't on the RS. and as for coppers? Many unmarked in my area certainly 🤣
