Acting like the ref didn’t give usyk the knockdown. There was no “saving” good eye contact by the ref noting fury was still up until he sunk in usyks team corner. Had all the time to get the “knockout”. Rematch is gonna be nice in October 🥊👑.

Who knows what damage it could have done (if you watch the footage even Fury’s corner was waving it off) Usyk won and that’s even more impressive with Tyson’s recovery - round 12 was actually quite close I thought and he still won! Amazing can’t wait for the next fight -
Fury also has an incredible will, that much seems clear to me. But that evening there was someone whose will was unbending. Fury's face speaks volumes about that.
Fights at the top level aren’t separated by will it’s only separated by skill and the fact a ‘small’ heavyweight in an era of giants convincingly beats the best 2 giants shows that usyks talents are phenomenal. The old saying a good big man beats a good little man may still be true but only if everyone admits that AJ and fury aren’t good big men. The flip side is that Usyk is the best ever and the majority of people have shit on him because they don’t know shit about this sport and only shout loud because they are casuals

No, survived as in still kept fighting and potentially won some of the later rounds. A technical knockout is called when the referee determines the fighter cannot safely continue the fight. If you thought it should’ve been a technical knockout, then you should’ve been surprised he was able to safely continue the fight and offer good competition. But you aren’t rational

Fury was always overrated. Cherry picking his opponents, his only remarkable win were with an old version of Klitschko and wilder who was also beaten by Zhang and Parker. Other than that he struggled with all the other decent (but not great) opponents.

3 judges - 2 score it for USYK and 1 scores it for Fury - so Usyk wins by split decision as opposed to unanimous decision when all 3 judges say same fighter won

Fury 3,4,5,6,7,12 but as Usyk got a 8:10 round for the knockdown count in 9 he won by a point - close but not a draw. How did you score it?
In general, I assume that the fight was leaked by Fury (quietly) and there was some politics involved. Whoever tells me that today Sports is outside of politics, I’ll laugh in my face. Fury What benefit does he have from losing the fight - Well, firstly, he will earn money twice, or rather three, because there will be a rematch and many will earn money from these fights, by the way, it is quite possible to assume that Usyk did not know that the fight was leaked to him. Note that Yury said in one of his interviews that both Sasha and I feed our families, he kind of indirectly let it slip that we feed our families. Of course there will be a rematch, Fury will probably win or it will be a draw. I think that then the third fight will be like what happened in Yuri.
