    I just got my Caucasian shepherds female she's 4 month but I try to work her on a leash but she will not agree what should I do

      Hello! We are preparing an article and video on this topic, stay tuned! You need to be very patient and work with your dog in stages for 10-15 minutes per day, a few days in a row. Be gentle and do not force your dog or pull him on the leash, they need to know it is something pleasant. Reward her with treats at each step she does on a leash and take her for short distances only, increasing gradually.

    Hey Flavia
    What would be the best time to neuter a Caucasian - or would you even consider this?

    • @CaucasianShepherds
      @CaucasianShepherds  Před 2 lety

      As we do not neuter our dogs we do not give advice in this regard. Best thing to do is to follow your vet's advice on that.

    Is it possible for me to get Caucasian Shepherd as first time owner?

    • @CaucasianShepherds
      @CaucasianShepherds  Před 2 lety

      Hello! For a quick reply from us you can contact us directly on our website www.titans-family.com or social media pages. You can get a Caucasian Shepherd only if you properly prepare in advance and have some experience with dogs. Otherwise, we generally do not recommend people who have never had dogs or never dealt with other dogs to get a big guard dog.
      However, you can go to a training course and this way learn about the dynamics between man and animal.

    Agr hot weather ho to is dog ko ham kaise rakha iska care kaise kara

      Hello! We usually do not recommend taking this breed to very hot countries. Although they adapt to any climate, the constant hot weather can decrease their health condition and shorten their life span.

    Is it bad for them to walk up and down the stairs at 5 months

    • @CaucasianShepherds
      @CaucasianShepherds  Před 3 lety +1

      If there are not that many stairs it's ok. Just pay attention not to over exercise your dog, their bones are still developing at that age.

    How is it to have a Caucasian in an apartment?

    • @CaucasianShepherds
      @CaucasianShepherds  Před 2 lety +1

      Hello! It is not your usual apartment dog as it is big and needs a territory to guard. We do not recommend keeping a CS in an apartment only, but people make it work if they live close to nature and have plenty of time to take the dog out.
