That controller is trash, say goodbye to your aim after 1 month because of stick drift and the vader 4 pro has more macro buttons, 1000hz polling rate, micro chips in the joysticks that make them way more accurate

Ok but, hear me out. Scuff is about $300 and the Flydigi is $150. Scuff can only go windows
flydigi can go all platforms
@@jcbuk2us xbox?
@@freddiegalan9320need a certain dongle. Not exactly sure which one, should be some videos though.
@@jcbuk2us hear me out. Which one is going to perform better consistently. I'm at the age where I like to buy the best version of things now because I work hard to afford it :)
@@BrandenBlackford For me, it's about quality control and after sales service.
I know both brands have good quality control, but in my area, we have an official Flydigi store nearby, and there's an SC Flydigi store just 5 minutes away. If something goes wrong, I can drive there instead of sending the controller away for repairs. However, if we had a Scuff physical store nearby, I would choose Scuff.
Ok, I’m not going to lie I’m a casual player so seeing you hold that controller just confused the heel outta me
How does that confuse you that's how I always held mine before I switched to pc
It’s called claw, it lets me hit the ABXY buttons without taking my thumb off the right thumbstick (realistically it’s not necessary since the controller has buttons on the back)
It's a modified half claw grip. Which is completely useless for this type of controller, might as well just use it normally.True claw grip only has one hand for stability the other hand would be fully on the face. I only use the pro bfg and a leverless board
@@rickydelbosque780 how do you hold your controller now that you switch to PC? I still hold my controller the same way I did before I switched.
@@bland9876 I don't use controller anymore
“I love the blacked out look”
Just gave me flashbacks to this book I was reading. It’s a German translation and there’s a species of monster that comes in multiple colors representing hierarchy and the book just referred to them by color like”the blacks surrounded us” and things like that and every single time it caught me off guard.
That sounds like an interesting read, what’s the name of the book?
@@Esidi well, it’s City of the Dead: The Alchemist #1
I don’t really recommend it. I was looking for a good LitRPG and while it’s actually better than most in my opinion it still wasn’t quite what I was looking for.
If you want an actual book recommendation
Slow, but mentally stimulating:
- any enderverse book (I.E. Ender’s Game and all it’s sequels and spin-offs)
- The Stormlight archive books
Awesome and fun fantasy:
- Mother of learning (insanely good book series, with a flawed main character, amazingly paced progression, really well written side characters, interesting and fun combat and an awesome mystery being unfolded.)
- Artemis Fowl (really well written with you rooting for the villain and the heroes at the same time and a lot of whimsy and fun in the writing. Fun adventure series.)
- The Chrestomanci Series (stupid bumbling kids with great powers making dumb mistakes and being kids.)
An actually decent LitRPG
- All the Skills (really interesting magic system with solid progression and characters)
- Dungeon Crawler Carl (kind of crass with some of its humor in a weird ironic sense, but really plays into the aspect of there being a game, while also having great characters and always ending off with a super fun and suspenseful battle.)
Okay, I looked into it to confirm. The Alchemist was originally by a Russian author not German. My bad
@@christianboi7690 Artemis Fowl is a W pick, one of my favorite book series of all time.
@@christianboi7690 bro you ate not him
You can build your own custom Xbox controller with all those features for like only $90-ish USD. $30 for a used controller, $20 for the hair click triggers (extremerate flexor clicky) and $40 for the back buttons (extremerate victor x) only thing you need is soldering knowledge and that's it. It's wayyyy better than buying a perbuilt and wayyyy cheaper. More customization too.
I absolutely love scuf, BUT I've went through THREE of them in the last 8 months. The paddle/buttons are holding on by a thread and break out of nowhere with minimal use. I just exchanged another one a few weeks ago lol
Have you been using the scuf instinct pro? I’ve never had any problems with it. I did recently buy a scuf envision and while I love the concept of it, it has been giving me a ton of problems
@Esidi I had 1 instinct pro before I switched to PC, and then another when I switched, both of those paddles broke in the exact same spot just casually playing the game. I have the envision pro now, and it's probably the best controller I've ever had. Software is a little complicated at first but it's awesome
Have you tried any gamesir controllers?
Some of the latest models they've been releasing look absolutely amazing.
I'm still waiting on a wireless one with 4 back buttons. Once that eventually drops it'll probably be my go to.
Did you beat the controller?
Upvoted because I see that resistance ring on the right stick. I've been making and using those to up my game since the days of Halo on the OG Xbox. I make them out of silicone these days, the er umm soft kind. Provides a nice nonlinear resistance curve. The further over you've pushed the stick the more resistance you experience.
That's a w right there
W Karma
Ive had this controller for about a year and its been amazing so far. Best quality controller ive ever used. No issues either although i do take good care of it
I actually liked the ps controller that was shown what kind of controller was that I got a ps4 and that controller looked really good to game with ^^
It’s a PC only controller called Flydigi Apex 4
Yes perfect deal $300 is outrageous for a controller, mine as well just buy and Xbox then use that controller 😭💀
I agree, unless you play competitive fps games a lot or make money off gaming then it’s worth the investment
@@Esidi people who use scuff are only people who are sponsored by scuff and get shit for free, you’re outta your mind if anyone even competitive players aren’t gonna spend $300 for the basic controller and another $100-$200 on customization (also without Hall effect sticks so stick drift is gonna happen within a few months)
Just buy the gamesir G7 se or that white/purple controller at the start of the vid.
i have been with scuf for years and years now but i went through 3 in like 9 months, the new ones are not hitting now. the vantage 2 was by far the best controller they made it lasted me 4 years. it had a stick drift reset software which allowed me to use this controller for the 4 years i had it
I use mnk, but when I do play controller, I use battle beaver. I love my battle beaver controller, but whenever I use it I can’t help but wonder what amazing controller I could be using if I bought from scuf.
I’ve always wanted to try out a Battle Beaver controller but haven’t had the opportunity to yet. I do love my Scuf but I’m sure other brands make great controllers as well
I played abount 20 000h on my blue ps3 controller
I got a victus BFG for the ps5, I really like it but I'm thinking of getting either the ps5 elite controller or modding a basic controller
Minus the Joysticks drift. Two months of use and it developed drift on the right Joystick
The downside of not having Hall effect sticks
And for 250 you can get a modded controller with stick drift fix
1500 hours is crazy
I had an Xbox elite series 2 but i broke the wired cable because i got stressed out in apex legends and i hate myself i feel so hollow and i dont need nothing i only have 320 hours i apex legends
It uses a standard USB C cable, you can get them for cheap, you can also use one for your phone if you have an android or the new iPhone
What Controller are you currently using?
Xbox Elite
Usually a battle beaver controller recently trying out the ps5 edge.
G7 se
Gulikit KK3 Max for Emulating PS2/PS3 or playing racing games. KBM for basically everything else.
@@MirageATrois ooooo, I think gamesir might send one out for me to try soon
1500 hours in 2 years? Starting to see why mine fail in 6 months now 😅
Me who has more than 5000 hours on my PS4 pro's dualshock 4 included in the box 💀
No it doesn't have stick drift, but the thumb grips did wear out but I replaced them for like 2$ and the aftermarket ones aren't wearing out any time soon
Using a power a fusion pro 3 as of rn, it aint bad its pretty good but i wanna switch to a scuf soon.
Scufs great but make sure you look around at the other options as well
@@Esidi idrk any other options, got any recommendations?
@@Stat1cJvyraapex 4 or Vader 4, both have hall stick affect, and really good price
“Not that one”, bro why’d you put it there
To grab your attention 😉
Is have the same things for a ps controllert
Fuck are you on about 😂😂😂😂
How is the reflex? I looked into it but the reviews aren’t as good as the instinct so I wasn’t sure if I should try it
claw on paddled controller???
More comfortable for me
I bought this controller and in less than 2 months of heavy normal use and I got stick drift.
Stick drift on zero dead zone?
I get some stick drift because the controller doesn’t have Hall effect sticks. On small dead zone I get very minimal drift for a controller with 1000s of hours on it.
If you have any other questions reach out on X or discord
@@Esidi thanks for being honest! Comes a long way
You prefer Hall effect sticks or normal potentiometer sticks for fps competitive games?
@@xav10 I prefer potentiometer because I’m used to them but I think Hall effect are objectively better
Mouse + keyboard is the way
But how is the d-pad? Durable? Well suited for typical fighting game imputs? The silicone membranes always wore out, so I began to play with stick. But I would buy a good controller again...
I'm surprised it doesn't recharge maybe just the instinct pro does. Never checked.
Razer wolverine ultimate is my personal favorite. The raised mechanical buttons instead of paddles is a game changer.
That's pretty good your scuf lasted that long. I've had two of these razers that are still kicking after 3 years. No issues which is nuts. A far cry from the xbox elites that i went through 3 of in 6 months.
I used to use the Wolverine ultimate, no problem until one day where it wouldn’t turn on anymore. I’m not a big fan of the position of the back buttons tho
@@Esidi it's def a different placement that took me some time to get used to. Almost gotta play on fingertips.
Ill never buy a pro controller without either replaceable joysticks (not caps) or hall sensor sticks. Because of joystick drift. Im not paying $100+ for a controller thats just gonna get drift and have no way to fix it. Thats why I like the duel sense edge, you can easily replace the sticks for only $20
Why are we using raised stick on the left?
Bro not to be rude but u use claw on a controller with paddles its crazy
Where can I buy it?
Amazon, if you use the link on my channel page it will take you to my Amazon shop where you can find it. Let me know if you have any questions
Ive got 6500 hours into the controller that came with my xbox.
This thing probably cost as much as a whole xbox.
It’s around $200, but if you play competitive fps games or you make money from gaming then it’s well worth it
@@Esidi will this controller help me find useful team mates?! Thats all I need at this point to improve my competitive gaming experience 😅
Jokes aside, 200 aint bad i guess
299 far a controller is crazy
Scuff better than Flydigi?!
You are so funny 😂 in two years 1500 hours .. Seriously I do about 2000 Hours in 6 months I am using a simple PDP Afterglow Xbox series X controller and it's amazing... Mind you I've gotten through a few PowerA controllers the better one lasted about 1 year and 2 months
Yeah I game quite a bit
Real gamer
do you always play on controller or k&m?
Usually controller
@@Esidioh ok, yo btw could you teach me like some movement tricks?
But does it get stick drift?
Apex 4 >>>>
Going to make a vid on it soon!
The elite controller is bettwr
True
Does it have a gyroscope? It looks great, but that's a deal-breaker, and I know the regular Xbox controllers don't have one.
Only problem is the quality of scuf controllers is god awful. My old vantage I treated very well and the trigger stop AND a paddle broke not too long after buying the controller.
Scud gets syickdrift way to fast
That claw finger angers me, u got 4 frnk back buttons
Why spend 100s of dollars on a scuff controller that has SO many problems and some of the worst customer service and warranty?? Yall should just buy a Gamesir Kaleid. Hall Effect joysticks and triggers, 2 back buttons, included RGB and one of the best wire I've ever seen in my 18+ years of gaming. Only drawback is that it's a wired controller.
Why you holding your controler like that. No hate but it's just a very interesting way to hold it
Cuz it's a pro controller made only for the use of pro players, not us casual players
It’s called claw, it lets me hit the ABXY buttons without taking my thumb off the right thumbstick (realistically it’s not necessary since the controller has back buttons)
Why do place fingers like that? It looks very uncomfortable go pc and get a good mouse and keyboard
It’s called claw, I’ve been playing like this since for over 6 years now so it’s what I’m used to. It allows me to hit ABXY with my index finger without taking my thumb off the right thumb stick
Tell me you didn’t afford an Elite XBOX controller without telling me you didn’t afford an Elite XBOX controller
A custom scuf controller is easily more expensive than an elite series 2, which is CONSTANTLY on sale anyway. Not sure what you’re on about, I’d think you’re more broke using an elite 2 which also have more problems consistently 😂
me when the scuf is more expensive
Also drift asf
Xbox controllers are the most comfortable to use
But until Microsoft adds gyro to their controllers, I'll be using my Dualshock 4 instead.
Might want to try out the flydigi apex 4, Xbox layout but has gyro (I make a vid on it soonish)
Nah bro, the elite series 2 controller by Xbox is legit almost the same as that one, but cheaper and more modular. Elite series 2 is 100% better imo
At $300, you will get much faster results with buying a decent kb and mouse😂
300 bucks for stick drift after 5 months
bro plays claw and paddles wtf
Mostly a habit from before I had paddles
Let me guess 300 dollars?
No Gyro tho
No gyro is an immediate L
Dualsense Edge > Xbox Elite
Not. Even. Close.
Yeah, if only scuf didn't have terrible QC. Spending an insane amount on a controller only for it to give in after a few months of use... No thanks, I'd rather stick to a cheaper pro controller like flydigi vader or Apex, better quality, more features and more comfort. Scuf is just overpriced, overhyped meh controllers at this point.
I have the same controller would not reccomend I've had it for a yr costs tedious me 250 usd have had so many problems it's not even funny. Sent it back countless times they didn't do anything till the 3rd time when I got angry than they did there job. Waste of money do not purchase.
Amazing video tho great amount of detail on all the features keep it up man!!
Interesting, it seems like every controller is a gamble on whether it will be reliable or not. Mine hasn’t gave me any issues yet
@@RSgoated9671 thanks!!
Clearly never used the steam controller
apex. rly bro? 🤨
Xbox controllers are not the best for fps they don’t over clock even with hidusbf and they have baked on axial dead zones making it less accurate for fps. But if u frag u frag. Ps5 is the best imo
Fly dog I better it has 1000hz polling
Yeah no, that back buttons placement is ugly
And no gyro 😂
Apex 4 still better
Steam controller is the best controller sorry man

I had that controller its garbage it got stick drift in 6 months and it has a ton of input delay it has no good features feels like cheap plastic and it cost 250 dollars dont to anyone reading this comment dont buy this controller it sucks and its a waste of money

Scuf is worst shit you can buy, terrible customer service. Bad quality. I would never recommend it to anyone.
