    Impressive mechanics, love the bezel details, great dial.
    I see it as a complete package for who can spot and afford this piece.

    I've always wanted to actually handle one of these. I like how they designed it in a way that they can easily modify it and add a GMT to it and continue to innovate. There are quite a few variations of it now. I did get to handle the Propilot X and it was jawdropping in my opinion. I've owned quite a few Oris watches and I really like them as a brand and I think they offer a lot for the money when compared to their competitors in a similar price point.
    Edit: I forgot to mention, I absolutely agree about the date window. I'm really not a fan of that position.

      This is a model I really liked and a little different from the other models they do ' I'd be happy to have this in the collection or as your only watch 👍🏻

    Hi Barry, sorry I'm late 😢. This looks good but is too big for me. All it needs now is a Remontoire to make it perfect! Have a good week my friend, and I look forward to the next one. Cheers, Bob 🍻

    The longer the power reserve, the smaller the balance wheel. I'm sure it's comprehensively covered in; The Practical Watch Escapement by George Daniels (Author).

      But mostly the bigger mainspring and slower beat rate , The Pequignet manual royal is a case in point Michael

    How long does it take to wind from 0 to 10 days?

  • @wisamal-hakim5531
    @wisamal-hakim5531 Před rokem +1

    It’s too big, too thick and the dial is a bit of a mess. And it takes about a day to fully wind the damn thing.
    But for some reason I love it! Oris have become an increasingly impressive brand with some lovely offerings. Not sure what the price is on this but a querky, bold, impressive timepiece well suited for a bigger wrist. Mine is just over 8 inches and my daily is 44 so not a problem.
    Thanks for the review, really unpretentious brand making some astonishing movements for their price category. Admirable

    My unscientific observation is that watches run best at the top half(ish) of the power reserve.

      Hi Sir a watch should at its best between 85% / 30% of it power reserve, thats when the power curve should at its flatnesses 👍🏻
