ESTCP 2.1 Lighting Control System Basics

There are many lighting systems that are designed for different applications, complexity, and controls. In this video, we introduce the basics of lighting controls systems for facilities personnel and others who manage lighting controls systems. Topics covered in this video are the reasons for using new lighting controls systems, typical lighting retrofits, advanced lighting controls vs traditional lighting controls, and different control strategies. This video will help prepare the viewer for future sessions on code requirements and networked lighting controls.
