Blessed be the Name of the Lord! Thank you for the video.
Boa noite, Adorei seu video, vc foi o único que explicou por detalhes o que acontece, parabens (Brasil)
how bout cutting clear acrylic with paper masking? will it work?
If you put the acrylic plate a lot higher, a whole piece of the plate. Isn't that better? I also read that they spray wd40 on the surface of the acrylic.
Hi Benson, did you ever try to cut rubber with this Atomstack? Approx. 1 mm NBR for cutting gaskets e.g.? I'm quite interested, because usually the wavelength of CO2-laser would probably be much more suitable, but maybe the power of the X20 Pro compensates?
No I have not tried, is there any household product with NBR I can test cut with?
@@BCreviews Maybe an old inner tube of a bicycle could be comparable. But only if you've an extraction, since I'm not aware of toxic gases.
@@BCreviews I've got the information from Atomstack, that it should be capable to cut rubber. I ordered my Atomstack now, so that I can inform whether it really does cut it, asap
Yes, it can cut and engrave rubber. I used it for making stamps.
Hi, I would like to know is the X20 pro is able to cut 3mm translucent white cast acrylic.
Translucent? Transparent or Opaque?
@@BCreviews Tanslucent and opaque if you have the answer for both. I would rather use translucent if it can be cut. Thanks.
Hello witch configuration you use for Lightburn and the X20 pro ? your are on Mac of windows ?
windows 10, I find that install grbl first and get that working then install lightroom sorted out the teething problem I had. At first I have to start GRBL and connect to the laser, then shut down GRBL and then start lightroom and it will connect. After a few times I now can connect to lightroom every time it starts. I always assumed that is because of driver problem.
@@BCreviews I presume you are using Lightburn instead of Lightroom :)
Lightburn yes 🙌
Sir Please Share your Lightburn Test file...I have same machine but confused
.. about cutting parameter...
Find me on Facebook X20 pro official group, I can send you the test file or ask question to all the experts in the group 👍
I recommend checking the fill offsets. The laser from Atomstack is a little late, and because of this, there is smearing of the edges when painting bi-directional. I made a detailed video on this issue. czcams.com/video/-sPOyj1CYIw/video.html
And this will be useful for those who want to work with Atomstack via WiFi from a PC from LightBurn, czcams.com/video/JMbSUrwNKdw/video.html
Thanks for the tip 👍 will. Will check out the video. I adjust the offset when doing tiles to get a straight edge where the photo stops
Can't we just use a colored cardstock for the backing instead of spraying metal?
The grey primer works best as it will get vaporised but leaving very little residues on the clear acrylic. When I use black spray paint and other non metal backing it leaves burn mark and vapour escape type of marks which does not clean off
Air assist,settings?
Off , not engraving top surface so it does nothing but increase chance of moving the plate
You really need to have a better camera angle as we cannot see anything on the acrylic
Why the X20 Pro "failed" to cut acrylic?
Failed to cut clear acrylic , most coloured are ok to cut to an extent.
@@BCreviews wave lenght of beam vs CO2 reson for not cutting clear acrylic
I would love a co2 laser, all I can afford is k40 but too much work to make it good 😂
@@BCreviews hi Benson. I use a CO2 laser but for backup I want to get something like the Atomstack
Could you tell me what is the maximum engraving speed
I find the max sped around 8000mm/min, any faster than that don’t seems to improve engraving speed at all. Could be due to user error as I am still learning as I go.
On paper it should go up to 12000mm/min, when I use that setting in lightburn it is the same engraving times as 8000 …. I may do a speed test video next 👍
Purchased for my son and returned, (I myself have a 60W MOPA Fiber and a 100W CO2, so..no new to laser here), if you understand the words SLOW and UNDER-POWERED...you will stay away from this expensive "toy" no much of difference from a 10W Power (just the fact that they try to manipulate the power saying in the ads that the machine is a 130W power (but the diodes are 4x5W =20W) tells that they try to mislead the new buyers with minimum understand on how machine power and laser power works...my only guess, the machines giving to youtubers must be "special ones" given for free in exchange of a good word. Save yourself from a mistake
It is always nice to hear from user experience and it is what my channel is about. Let’s get 2 things straight here, does your machine do what I did in the video? If it doesn’t then either user error or item is faulty. Secondly, I never compare this 120w with any co2 laser in performance except in price. This is a K40 kind of price (with mods) but without the need of mirror adjustment and water cooling. I got this one from Atomstack.net at Pre order price and they don’t know I am a CZcamsr or video review. All my sponsored video are flagged as such like the RAY 10w published today. Not this X20 pro.
